I almost feel bad for you midwest/southern/easterners. That would be fairly average here, except for the miles. But sub 150K clean 3rd gens in the price range are pretty common here.

Looks pretty good from the pics. I wouldn't worry about that skid plate being a little bent. Those things hang down very low. The price and miles are very good too in my opinion.
Really? I thought that they were usually pricier out west. Down here that truck would be sold in a few days tops at that price. Right now there's a 2WD 2002 limited with 138k miles posted for $9k...

Pacific North West they are very high, So Cal not so much. I just did a search and found quite a few, but none that clean. Found some crazy people asking 12K because they are lifted and have some stickers!:mad2:
But I'd say normally I'd find one like it, maybe more miles, for 6-8K pretty easily. Of course as time moves on everyone get's more an more miles. So maybe I'm thinking about 2 years ago?
I can only laugh at the crazy asking prices on some these though, salvage title, high mileage, and they think they're tires make it worth an extra 4 grand. :noidea:
Yeah I paid 11.5k for mine with 116k miles with lift/tires and some custom stuff..lol. But I was also looking at a 2000 with a TRD and the guy was firm not budging at 12k and it had 90k miles on the engine 252k on the body. I live in the PNW and this is a very common thing. Now granted i've seen gof or the price they want, but I paid IMHO 1.5k more but my dad said it was worth the extra 1.5k (i was firm at 10k)..lol. I'm in love with it and after about 500 more into it I honestly believe with just my general maintance I will get another 100k out of it maybe more..

Fair enough, I guess I just kinda assumed the entire west coast was like that. I think most people post so high because they add all their modifications cost to the NADA or KBB value. I know I'll never get the money I have in mine back out of it if I were to sell, so I just plan to never sell!

no doubt... a few weeks ago I missed a 99 limited with 97K on it, asking was 11k and was on the lot for less than 24 hours before someone beat me to it.

I look at Denver craigslist ever few days. So many Toyota trucks for sale in this area. Im in Cheyenne, WY, a little north of the front range. Was in Boulder yesterday for a dr. appt. I love driving in the front range just to see how many toyota trucks I can spot. Everywhere you look there a 4runner, land cruiser, tundra, early model pickup or tacoma, and half of them are modified. Im pretty sure CO has the highest per ca pita population of toyota trucks in the nation.

They definitely do. I'm always scouring craigslist in my free time and the highest concentration of 4runners on craigslist are from the Denver/Boulder area. A Lot of 5 speed 3rd gens out there too and they all sell pretty quick. I was out there late September and of course the week I was there, nothing popped up for me to buy and drive home.

That's a pretty good deal! We don't get many good looking low mileage 4runners in Louisiana. Moat have been ragged put and are used as hunting trucks. That is a heck of a deal.

If you're driving through Boulder, you should be driving past campus checking out the coeds in yoga pants, not the amount of Toyotas. You're not wrong though, currently at my house there's two 3rd gens, a Hino bagged T100, and my roommate just purchased a 1st gen Tundra.

I think it's been repainted at least on the tailgate. ?Wrecked is also possible. "SR5, 4WD, Toyota" are not in the correct factory location.
