Well if it's defective I will pick it it's just my luck lol
Well my shakedown run ended with a broken shock I was as to make it home since the external reservoir held the shock in

Cleaned up you can see better the top stud pulled out

I called metaltech and right away they got me a RMA and the shocks are being rebuilt. Also luckily Wade from metaltech suggested to send both shocks in to be checked/repaired and I found the other one was loose! A big thanks to Wade for keeping me safe!!

All more the reason why I can no longer justify expensive shocks. Same thing happened to my $400 radflo rears. I'd rather run the $80 bilsteins haha

I have to say Icon and Metaltech customer service has been unbelievably great
The ride is much better IMO especially with the rear bumper weight

Hey crashman how are you liking the MT real long suspension set up? Aside from the issues you just had with your shocks,,, how is it on road wise with the sway bars deleted? I really like this kit and just wanted to get some real feed back from someone who has used and ran it? Thanks.. By the way sick build man love your runner !

I love the new suspension I took off the sway bars and haven't noticed much of a difference in the front I have played around taking turns quickly and the truck leans but not to scarey the rear moves more but the shocks absorb the sway, I can tell on the highway with high wind but that is it
I love it off road it feels way more stable
