Damage while installing remote starter?

Was this actually done by a Toyota dealer? I doubt they would even waste their time trying to fix that, they would just put a new piece on. I'm guessing this was a smaller install shop. I wouldn't let them touch my vehicle anymore. Find the cost of the part you need and show it to them and tell them you want a check in that amount.

While hindsight is 20-20, next time you bring your vehicle to anyone for installation work you might want to take before photos with a newspaper's headlines showing in a few of the shots. That way it can't be said that something was already damaged, and you could prove the date of the photo's beyond a doubt. :AK47:

How did they fix it for you out of curiosity? Did they replace the part? Pic would be helpful.
