hey idk when you plan on going out there but im going to meet up with some co guys and start in loma co and do the Kokopelli 4×4 Trail. as of now were starting on the morning of the 28th. its supposed to be a two night journey.

I'm off work @ 2pm on thurs 5/29... don't have to be back until 6am on Mon 6/2.

I can definitely make it work for 3 days.

My main concern is still event organization. Based on the trail planning thread, it seems to me a lot of little cliques have already formed and finalized their plans. I'd hate to drive all the way out there and run solo 50% of the time again because I don't have 1K posts on TW.
 
Why tag along with TW people? Not that they aren't a bunch of good guys, but why not organize our own separate 4runner event during a different time? Just a thought...

What a great idea :).

I know it's being organized in the Classics section, but there's likely to be at least as many 3rd gens as 1st gens on this trip. It's been an open invite to anybody on T4R.org since we started organizing it, and we'd love to have more people joining us.

You can do it, you have the skill, I believe in you. Your YouTube video will be the new frequently posted link, completely eclipsing the video of the crown vic.

BTW, I did make my own runs last year. Unfortunately, it was just me on all of them.

I've been following your trip planning very closely, both on this forum and on the Utah specific forum. I've been trying to juggle the open spots in my schedule with the decision to go with you guys, the "Moab in March" trip that [MENTION=82211]TCMach[/MENTION] and [MENTION=78892]FR4R[/MENTION] just completed, or the TW meet.

My schedule just changed for next week. I'm off work Thurs the 24th @ 10a and don't have to be back until Monday the 28th @ 5:30p. I just realized this would allow me to make the trip with you guys (prior schedule had me working until Fri @ 2p). Unfortunately, it's probably too close for me to make it.

Last summer. Lots of reasons, basically I was sick of having my DD down for weeks every time I blew a diff and stuff.

Got into the car crowd, trying to save mileage. Now im selling that thing to get a faster car that gets worse mileage than the runner did, heh.

On the plus side, I graduate college soon headed for Ohio and a first gen 4runner is on my "first paycheck" list. So tentatively add me to next years list :p

well like i told you my group has already set up our weeks initial plan and we are getting together on Sunday to finalize what we want to do. They may or may not be organized this year but sure as hell i know my group will be. And if anyone breaks this year my buddy has a basically mobile shop he is bringing down (Welder and all lol)

Well there are numerous reason. 1. They are a fun crowd 2. Moab 3. Moab 4. Crap i said that twice 5. I am actually for a 4runner event but it also work having a tacoma and 4runner meet so hence it fits the needs.

BTW guys i will be out there from May 24th to June 1st. There will be 5 of us down there plus a few others. [MENTION=97939]TheArkMaster[/MENTION] is going to be there during that time as well.

Next time make it not during school since a ton of us are taking classes until sometime in May :cry2:
