Did the dealer screw up? Red coolant

Went to the dealer for some coolant for my tacoma. Long story short, let a shop change my coolant a few months back and they put in green. Now I'm selling it cause I bought a T4r and I want to make it right.
SO he says he sells me the pre mixed 00272-sllc2 @$18 a gal. I look at the bottles when I get home and it's p/n 00272-1llac. This is the "red" that is not diluted right?

P.S. Anyone want to buy a tacoma?

Wait a minute, I have been seeing this about Toyota red coolant and its in my 07 tundra, but I have been putting green in my '91 4runner for a while now...This is bad?

So I should be using the Toyota Red? My runner is 23 years old and as far as I know has always used the green coolant? Is there any difference between the two besides the color difference?

Of course my tundra is going to stay with the red cause that's what it came with but I don't remember red coolant in my runner when I bought it brand new in '91.

Your '91 came with green. Toyota switched to red in the late '90's as they went from brass/copper to aluminum radiators. There are plenty of differences but they all relate to anti-corrosion additive technology. On your '91, you should probably stick to green because it's cheaper and stick to the old-fashioned 2-year/30k change interval. Red won't hurt anything except your pocket book, but the anti-corrosion tech wasn't designed for the system in your Taco so you are wasting money.

No reason to shoot anyone for putting Red in a '91. If it is still in the bottles, save it for your 4Runner that was made for it.

Mixing green and red it's bad. If green was introduced you must flush it all out before adding red. You can also run zerex Asian. It's same as the red and cheaper at Napa.

Correct red is not diluted and should be diluted to 60 coolant 40 water

Oh ok this is exactly that I was looking for. For a while I was racking my brains trying to remember if it had red but now I understand, Thank you
 
My mechanic replaced my heater core and used green coolant. From this thread (and others) this now seems wrong.

I have a 3rd gen '02. Thanks.
