does anyone have an idea about 16.5 x 12

So of course I get the hook up on a set of tires that I can't find rims for. Can anybody help me on where I could find a set of 16.5 X 12.5 rims please? :clock:

You can't go get a military style 16.5" wheel and throw it on your 4runner. The bolt pattern will be wrong. See if you can find a 6 lug chevy 16.5" wheel. I think some of the chevy's in the 90's used a 6 lug 16.5" wheel for their trucks.

They aren't your normal wheel though. They are designed as double bead lock. Your can run them with out the PVC inserts but it kind of defeats the purpose of it. They bolt together in the middle and are sealed with an o-ring, hence the 8 bolt vs. 12 bolt. If you don't wheel much then they probably aren't for you. IMHO if you are going to run ANY sort of beadlock wheel then your should have a competent onboard air system.

A 16.5" tire/wheel is pretty much ONLY ran on stock H1 Hummers. This really does give you much options for tire or wheel size. If they had more tire in 16.5" I'd be all of this. Most tire companies don't make a tire with 16.5" that is under a 37" if they make it at all.

not too sure about mil wheels but i do know that if u run a standard 16.5 it aint much good for crawlen. all the 16.5 ive messed with have beeds pop off when aired down some. if i were to run 16.5's id look for a beadlock.....working in the tireshops as a youngster we used to let the air out of em and could pop the top bead off by hand.... just a heads up....
