Clazzio Seat Covers

I highly recommend Clazzio seat covers. Every 4runner I've seen in this generation has a ripped front seat... especially those with the UrbanRunner package. The Clazzio seat covers are over $400 and take a couple hours to install, but nobody can tell they are covers... everyone thinks they are OEM leather seats.

This is regarding the VSC mod. I own a 05 T4R V6 2wd Sport Edition w/Auto LSD. How would this VSC mod work with Auto LSD? I know Auto LSD works via brake operation by transferring power to other wheel, Is VSC automatically disengaged when I press the Auto LSD button, or does VSC work with Auto LSD function? If I did do the VSC mod will this disable the Auto LSD function as well? I've read that VSC cuts off engine power and this mod disables that but some people said otherwise, that being said, If this mod allows for it to not disable engine power and if the VSC mod does not affect the Auto LSD function, will turning off the VSC enhance the performance of the Auto LSD function?... allowing me the throttle out/power through certain off road terrains?

i set up a switch to disable the VSC. i to have an 06 2wd sport edition. when engaged, yes it does disable VSC and traction control but at times it has still cut engine power. when the VSC mod is engaged, i have tried to hit the auto lsd button to see what happens but it seems like the auto lsd button doesnt do anything. When VSC is ON, however, you can still operate the auto lsd switch

Will be removing the stock resonator and replacing with this tip. Plan on a 45 degree angle out the corner or keeping it out the back, but really having second thoughts about the size. 2 1/2 in, 3 1/2 out. Does unplugging the battery for a bit and connecting it again reset the computer, so that it can learn driving habits and such? I thought I read that somewhere, was wondering if it would be beneficial.

Yes, I forget the minimum time but over night would be good, and overkill of course, but makes sure. It will then learn your driving habits and adjust. I drive like a madman so I've never seen any benefit. Lil

4th gen air compressor modification

Hey guys in new to the forum. I'll keep it short. I have an 03 limited with RAS and I'm dumping that and the xreas fir the toytec ultimate lift. Trying to find if anyone has used the original air compressor as an on board air compressor. I want to use it solely for tire reinflation. Any thoughts?

The first mods I did were adding TRD Offroad stickers, removing the running boards and now Im waiting for my T4R.com sticker. I know they arent the coolest mods but I have only had my runner for 2 weeks and I figured it was a good start.

Next will be my suspension, just have to decide what I want. Im trying to decide between OME and Toytec/ Elbach.

I've had my 4R since the end of May, the first thing I did was replace the in cabin filter.


Second thing was swap out the gauge cluster lens (I can't believe how dirty and scratched the plastic was), that was driving me nuts since I bought it

How much of a pita was it to replace gauge cluster lens?

It wasn't bad, I watched a video on Youtube, I think the guy was replacing his stereo but it was the same basic items that needed to be removed

Reverse light mod

I have searched and search and can not find it has any one done a reverse light mod similar to the drl mod where you split a wire and add a switch?
