I did footwell leds over the weekend. I am pleased with how they turned out. Really a simple job once I found JA's how to thread. I had a coupon for advance auto and found the leds there....only spent $10 on them. They're not the brightest, but they serve their purpose. They come on and off when the doors open or unlocked on key fob.

How did you wire them??

1st mod. 30mm round from an A-10 when I was in Kuwait. I like to think it was used in the name of freedom. Just sanded a piece of wood to fit the circle, drilled a hole and screwed on.

Built a box in the cargo area for extra storage space.

I do however I don't use it. The way I built the box will not allow the use of the double decker shelf. I'm sure if you put enough thought into it you would be able to come up with a way to integrate it into the box.

Does anyone know if part 2 can be done without part 1?

I don't care about having the fog lights on without the low beams, but I do want to be able to have the fog lights and high beams on at the same time.

I did the PFRAN interior LED light swap. Map lights, center dome, rear dome, four doors, and reverse lights (socket 921). Only took 15 minutes and a flathead screw driver (to pop off lenses). This is an easy inexpensive mod that you will benefit from pretty much everyday. Very bright & clean light. I am really satisfied with the results.

LED Bar

Installed a rear LED bar this weekend. I used a trailer hitch connector so I could remove it when I wanted. Hear to many stories of LED bars being stolen.

I purchased a used 08 4runner sr5 v6 last april and it had 103,000 miles on it. the dealer told me that the brakes had some wear on them since they didn't replace them (as expected). Anyways the truck now has 120,000 miles on it (road trip vehicle) and i am looking to change the brake pads, should i change the rotors too? I don't notice anything out of the ordinary when stoping and the rotors don't appear to have any damage or excessive wear on them or at least anything out of the ordinary from a truck that has 120,000 miles on it. thanks in advance.

Also, i was looking at the brembo rotor and brake pad combo. good?

P.S. I tried making a new thread but i can't yet and i tried posting in an old related topic but i got nowhere with that.:boom:

Can't go wrong with Brembo, they are top quality stuff. They are pretty expensive though. Many on here includingme all love the PowerStop Brake Kits off rockauto and Amazon. Great rotor/pad combo for around $120. They have a few levels of kits, I choose the basic one with standard rotors, but some on here like the middle one with drilled/slotted rotors.

Oem are great. If you can find a good deal run with it.

Stick with the OE parts. Toyota of south Atlanta will honor the ih8mud forum discount. Others will as well. I have used Napa/autozone brake parts in the past with disastrous results, they always end up seizing up.
