Yea...that's the first thing that's gonna happen before I put them on
Be sure to clean it super well...grease sticks around if you just wipe it off.

Ebay says 60+ have been sold, too bad ebay doesnt have a comment section like amazon products do.
Hate to be that newbie throwing in my 2 cents but I believe these are Total Chaos UCA'S that just didn't meet their QC.
I also plan to throw my money at them when I do go to modify my 4Runner.
Thanks for the few guinea pigs, and helpful info.
-I replaced the grease fittings because the ones supplied were very cheap. ($6)
-Replaced the supplied Grade 5 bolt, washers and nut with Grade 8 (not sure it was necessary but it only cost $13)
-used a washer as a spacer so the bushing would not be crushed due to the short inner sleeve. (See the ajonesnv write up)
-Used my bench grinder to take a little off of the top and bottom uniball spacers so they wouldn't meet in the middle and allow play.
Everything went together very smoothly. Gonna go with the supplied Uniball and see how it performs.
WTF?!?! EBAY uca's are $650+ now???????????
New Silver Upper Control Arm for FJ 4 Runner Tacoma 05 2WD 4WD Lift Kit | eBay
If these are the bootleg version of Total Chaos UCA which are $680 why would anyone ever by the EBAY version at this price. I was still on the fence but this is ridiculous.
I think I know the answer "NO", but would the 3rd gen UCA's fit our 4th gen?

i don't know about you guys, but now that the prices are similar i think id still choose eBay over total chaos......
:flame:
you're insane.
Lol that's crazySo apparently the knockoff vendor is temporarily out of stock, so instead of saying they are out of stock they just nearly tripled the price to keep the listing open and probably assumed nobody would buy at the higher price????
from my ebay message history:
(My question to them)
Dear freedom.suspension,
Why did the price just jump $400 from $250 to $650? I will buy a set at $250

Hi,
The pricing is to reflect the item being out of stock. It is not the actual price of the item.
Please check back within a months time or you can add this item to your watch list.
Once the item is back in stock, the item will return back to it’s original price.
We hope this helps and thank you for your inquiry.
