Hate to be that newbie throwing in my 2 cents but I believe these are Total Chaos UCA'S that just didn't meet their QC.
I also plan to throw my money at them when I do go to modify my 4Runner.

I just got mine and put them on. The bushing sleeves were too short so I had to shave the bushings down a bit. I replaced the uniball bolt with a grade 8 and the install was easy and quick. They feel super solid and I will hit up some rocks soon to test them out. Seems like a great deal to me.

I suspect the story is more like this:

One of the companies that make them (Total chaos, all-pro etc.) is having or HAD them made in china - then the china factory ripped them off - this happens all the time, they make 80% for the actual company and sell the rest on eBay.

I bet they had the arms themselves made in china and then make the bushings and slug adapters etc. here. This would explain why the complaints are with the hardware and bushings etc. because china had to figure those out for themselves and they suck at that...

-I replaced the grease fittings because the ones supplied were very cheap. ($6)
-Replaced the supplied Grade 5 bolt, washers and nut with Grade 8 (not sure it was necessary but it only cost $13)
-used a washer as a spacer so the bushing would not be crushed due to the short inner sleeve. (See the ajonesnv write up)
-Used my bench grinder to take a little off of the top and bottom uniball spacers so they wouldn't meet in the middle and allow play.

Everything went together very smoothly. Gonna go with the supplied Uniball and see how it performs.

Right in line with what I found, although my grease fittings were fine.

Mine are 3rd gen so I bought the All-pro slugs and I got rid of the insert for the 1/2" bolt and used super beefy grade 8 3/4" bolts.

My bushing sleeves were a tad too long actually so I had to grind those.

Also had to grind the uniball adapters so they didn't touch - DON'T do too much!!!

If these are the bootleg version of Total Chaos UCA which are $680 why would anyone ever by the EBAY version at this price. I was still on the fence but this is ridiculous.

I think I know the answer "NO", but would the 3rd gen UCA's fit our 4th gen?
