Eibach Pro-truck lift

Hey there guys... got this same system # E80-82-071-01-22 and I would like to make sure and Confirm what setting on front perch I would have to set at for a LEVELLED 4runner... if I leave it at the lowest perch I assume will have factory type rake? I am looking for a levelled look so which perch should front be set at?

Set it at the lowest perch. It will be more leveled than raked. It looks great btw.

Where did everyone get their top plate spacer? I'm in search of a 1/4 or 1/2 to balance out the driver side lean. Also look for spacer on rear.

Recommendations please!

I’m convinced no one knows

snap rings are pretty simple, use a snap ring pliers to remove it and place it wherever you want. The right tool makes it simple, otherwise it can be annoying. make sure it is fully seated!!! or you'll have a nice surprise when the spring gets placed back on or even more fun when the weight of the truck is on the springs lol

My first post... I signed up just to share my experience with you(hope its not too late)
I just wanted to level my 2021 T4R ORP. Period.
(Still working on my next step by reading a million more posts)
I've read this entire thread trying to find an answer to MY issue.
MY issue is that i did not lose the rake. (Which solidifies the statement that all T4R's are different)

I measured the front and rear on both sides several times in different locations and got different results every time... so i'm not comparing where it started and where it ended...I'm also not addressing the "lean" because it complicates those same measurements(that are all over the place). The "lean" does not bother me at all... but it is 100% there. Believe it.

So.. FYI..
I bought my kit preassembled (on the first perch). Installed it myself and was thinking i MUST have done something wrong. I removed the components entirely and re-installed. Same result.

I can't tell you about the ride quality change or anything else... to me.. its a truck. Drives like a truck. (My other car is a Mustang with a track suspension)

Ive got 3000 miles on the truck...2000miles on the suspension kit.. no issues with the TSS.
I have pics of the measurements from the ground(these are the average measurements shown on the tape measure) and pics of the stance with factory wheels/tires(showing how much different it can look from the camera angle and where its parked)

Good luck with your information search. I would suggest starting one perch up from the bottom.... from my experience.

I had the same experience with my 2015 Trail. Just added a front bumper and winch so I definitely need to remove and adjust now.

When I spoke with Eibach they said a lot of folks with no added weight choose to place it on the 2nd clip right from the start and are very happy with the height. I on the other hand have an extra 220#going up front and said I will definitely need to be on the 2nd clip anyway. I asked, will I need to go to the 3rd clip because I want to sit right at 3"with all the weight, he said it will sit at about 2.9"with that weight on the 2nd clip.... If I go to the third it will effect the handling to much.

I opted to go with the ajustable rear to balance everything out.

We'll see how it goes in a few weeks, everything should arrive for install next week.

Just got off the phone with Eibach, thanks for talking me through everything, Kevin @ Eibach! Super helpful.

With the sale going on, just ordered the Eibach Coilover 2.0 System instead of the Stage 1. Preassembled saves me shop labor and I like how adjustable it is and I can go lower in front.

Anyone running this system?

I just had the 2.0 coilovers installed on my ‘20 ORP last week. Very happy so far. Had the shop set height at basically level and very happy with on road handling and road manners. No issues with TSS. Plan on adding the load leveling kit for the rear next.

The shop did have an issue during install....they could not adjust adjust height using the supplied tool while installed on the vehicle. The adjustment ring wouldn’t budge, and they bent the tool in the process. The out of the box setting was too high, so they had to remove them, compress the springs to take load off, adjust, then reinstall. Took and extra few hours.

I watched a YouTube video from Eibach which makes mention of a new, more robust spanner wrench being made available to adjust these things. I tried calling them this week to get the scoop but they are closed for the holidays. Anyone have one of these? Ryan@eibach?

Ordered a kit on black friday from BBO to drop ship from Eibach. No word yet :( probably way behind with all the good deals. Cant wait to get this truck lifted Already threw the 33s on and its pretty tight up front lol.

It is a little confusing with the whole first half of the thread definitively saying bottom clip with no weight is level and second clip is for added weight, but later on lots of people reporting rake on bottom clip and suggesting second clip for level.

FYI,

I understand the confusion. My apologies for "muddy-ing" up the water and adding this post.
I WAS planning to remove the shocks today and raise it up to the second perch BUT my friend suggested I put a level on the step bars...and/or the roof rack rails.

That gave me an ENTIRELY different perspective.

Both locations are VERY close to level. (4' level)
As a matter of fact, the air bubble is slightly leaning more towards the line that would make it a reverse rake.

I had the same assumption, bottom clip to eliminate factory rake. I called Eibach and spoke to an engineer, he explained that I should probably use the second clip to eliminate factory rake and the third if you have added weight up front.

When and who did you speak to at Eibach? I called them 2 weeks ago and got this response...

How high was it with the factory setting? I’m looking at getting these myself. They say 0-2.5 but I was hoping to get a solid 3 inches. The guys at eibach told me that it would do that but I wanted some real world confirmation before I pulled the trigger. Thanks

Sorry, but I don’t know the exact answer. My assumption is about 2.5” out of the box with no adjustments based on what my shop told me.

So I installed the kit on my '17 trd off-road along with JBA UCAs and im a little disappointed at how much rake I maintained. Installed at first notch, and after an alignment and driving several hundred miles over a couple weeks I measure ~21.5 inches in the front and ~22.5 in the back. Everything on the front end is stock. Did I do something wrong??

I'd like to upload a pic but struggling with resizing to " 136kb"...
