What made you decide to ditch the rack?
The cross bars fell apart. The Toyota bars broke and it wouldn't fit in the back. And I was tired of messing with it. With a broke collarbone and ribs it was a little difficult to mess with.

Duh I happily contributed to COs economy!! Big foot guy is at the Safeway convenience store. And gas in cab new to me will take out to sleep!!!I may need to stop in estes to track down the big foot junkie. I would love to hear his stories, sounds pretty entertaining. Please tell me you spoke with him on 4-20. Speaking of, did you buy any weed on our special holiday?? In other news, are you really sleeping in the truck with the gas can??
Yeah 32 all the way. I haven't been on any trails that really warrant airing down.Enjoying your write-up so far on the trip.
Tire question?...I have the 265/70r17 Nitto Terra Grapplers myself, when you say you are running 32 psi is that on the trails? I run that for daily driving but on the trails I have aired down to 20 psi (not a lot by off-roading standards of-course) and haven't punctured anything yet (of-couse I just jinxed myself). On one tire I have had a nice slash, diagonally across the entire sidewall since a November 2015 wheeling trip. i have been looking at it every day since but it appears to be very superficial and not opening up. It didn't get any worse either on another recent, full day of wheeling aired down to 20 psi.
Maybe airing down might help avoid punctures? Understandably it is a pain to air back up if you don't happen to carry your own air when back on paved roads.
You must be loving every minute of this trip! I'm really enjoying seeing all the great stuff that you are posting! Hope your adventure ride keeps going smoothly!
