Finally did it...

After about 2 years of lurking around this site, searching, searching some more, researching, researching some more, I finally took the plunge and put some beefier tires on the the 4Runner...BFG Rugged Terrain 275/55-20s. They definitely add some character to the 4Runner...time will tell how they perform on and off road. I'll keep you posted...

They have to be better than the junk tires it came with, only got to 25k with the OEMs.

Your guna like them. I've got the same tire, only in my wheel size. i've got about 30K on them right now and i'm still thinkn theres about 20K left in them. I rotate every 5K and do a FWA & BAL every year if not sooner. I'll prob be switching them out and doing a lift and new tires before these even wear out. good pick , Enjoy!
