Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I just picked up my first 4Runner this morning. It's a 2001 SR5 4x4, V6, auto, tan interior, Sunfire Red exterior with grey 2 tone. It has 166k and has dealership service records for the life of the vehicle. Timing belt and water pump recently replaced. New OEM radiator. New fluids all around. The truck is really clean inside and out and is bone stock. No body damage, no stains in carpet or upholstery.
I pulled the running boards off as soon as I got it home and I think that made a big improvement in the looks of it already. Many more mods to come.
A little about myself, I live if Apex, NC just outside of Raleigh. I'm a civil engineer and in addition to this new 4x4 hobby I also like restoring and riding motorcycles. I finished a full frame up restoration on an 83 Honda V65 Magna earlier this year.
Anyhow, I've learned a lot from you guys already and it's good to be on board. :cheers:
