I wonder how much fuel capacity you gained from this lol. That old tank was hammered

The most I ever put in my old tank was 14 gallons and we probably dumped 2 gallons into the new one and added 16 at the pump. Pretty exciting to see how many miles I can do on a full tank now.

Right before I swapped tanks mine was so hammered that I was lucky to get 11 gallons at fill up. It’s crazy that my tank lasted so long with so much abuse. I’m surprised how tough our little Toyota’s really are.

I learned the hard way recently that I accidentally knocked about 3 gallons out of mine. How bad was the wallet gouging from Jim's? I'm always hesitant to call them since that's what they're kinda known for.

They quoted me $150 over the phone I said "sure" ill be right down. I showed up with $120 cash and talked them down to $100 with their sticker on my truck and the pretty green paper that everyone loves. Still painful amount for a used tank. It was in too good of shape and I had to get this done before I leave for Moab in a few days.

Chinaman Gulch

A few weekends ago, the weekend right after my last trip, I went out to Buena Vista to Run Chinaman Gulch, and Tincup as well as camp/hangout at a cabin in Saint Elmo.
Chinaman was way more dugout and difficult than all of us planned for but god was it fun! Beat the crap out of my truck but that is what it is for.

Rocktober in Moab
Went to this years version of Rock Therapy, called "Rocktober"

Super fun trip, total of 15 hours of driving, ran Steel Bender, and Top of the World at sunset. Only had some issues, threw a PO171 code, headlights don't turn on, and formed some new rattles along the way.
All said and done worth it, sounds like the fix for the code is to clean my MAF and maybe throttle body, or its a vacuum leak. As far as headlights I think a spliced wire came loose, this weekend I'm going to pull everything out and rewire/organize the wiring. If that doesn't fix it, everything is under warranty so Ill find the source of the problem and have it replaced.

Showed up at Behind the Rocks to meet up with everyone around 10:30pm, parked and started chatting and hanging around the fire. Here's was the home for the night.

Got to the top at the perfect time.

Super cool trail run during golden hour, coming down is where it got interesting. Big ledges and dark shadows. Also my headlights went out on the way down. Still haven't tracked down the issue, have new TRS Bulbs coming to see if the bulbs both went out.

How are you liking your 4Xinnovations rear bumper? Are there and options you wish you had gotten that you didn't? Ever drag the tire and wish it was located higher/angled? Now that you've had it for some time, how to you like the latch mechanism? Overall review of it?

My favorite build on here, it's what convinced me to go Millenium Silver and seeing the tails also got me to pull the trigger on a set for myself (Gotta replace the broken ones).

How are you liking your 4Xinnovations rear bumper? Are there and options you wish you had gotten that you didn't? Ever drag the tire and wish it was located higher/angled? Now that you've had it for some time, how to you like the latch mechanism? Overall review of it?

Overall I seriously love it. The swing out itself is so solid and probably one of the strongest latch and hinge combo. Doesn't bounce separately from the bumper at all. One thing that needs to be done is the Sonoran Steel Body mounts. (have yet to do mine ) As for tire height its really not that bad, I've hit it once or twice, only in Moab on the steep climbs and coming out of dugout sand etc. Even when you do hit it, it's no worries the bumper doesn't even flex much. I do wish I got the swingout setup for jerry cans, Puts the hilift in a better spot and allows for a lot more modification. Over the next 2 or 3 months ill be adding a jerry can mount and maybe adding a new mount for my hilift.

I say get them and put them on when you do the bumper. It's way easier to install when there's no bumper on. Plus without them you run the risk of denting up the body with the bumper when the frame and body flex separately.

It rattles more because the whole bumper shakes but It won't damage anything until you slam it on a rock ledge or bury your rear in the ground.
