Ok, that costs less than I thought. I looked at their website but couldn't find a price. That's much cheaper than katzkins. I've never seen seat covers before that look nicer than the factory seats. That's not right!

I went with the Coverking Neoprene covers and stoked I did. Quality and fit is identical to Wet Okole but for 2/3 the price. Can get front & back set for $350 from Costco online:

I purchased the Wet Okole covers for my 2nd row only and have been pretty happy with them. I have 2 Dobermans and it is a bit of a pain trying to remove all of their hair from the covers but they fit and protect quite well. I opted for the dog leash attached to rear for both sides and it works well. I probably would have gone with the Clazzios if they were out at the time I purchased.

Dang, those Alea leather seats look awesome. So awesome that I would probably want to spend $300+ on some crappy covers to ensure those awesome leather seats stay pristine.
I've researched and ordered samples for stupid seat covers since I got my ride months ago. I determined seat covers are a damn racket. They all look like crap, are way overpriced, and I will just throw my towel over my seat and then maybe one day, many years down the road, spring for some Alea or other legit leather and have my seats reupholstered for a fresh new interior upgrade.
I agree based on samples, and common sense, neoprene is not ideal. I believe it's popular because the install and fit is easier and more snug than something like the endura/canvas type fabric.

Installed? So do they remove the stock cover and install the leather or is it covered over the OEM seat material? They do look amazing!

Clazzio are just as nice as Alea and half the price. You install them yourself they have in detail youtube videos for reference.

Does anyone know if Clazzio is planning a 2 row 5th gen set? Looks like the site specifies that the 3rd row set they sell will definitely not fit.

Wow, could you be more of an ahole, I'm not overweight, not out of shape and wouldn't think for a second to put neoprene on a seat. Why, because I live I in an area that gets above 65 degrees.

I agree, neoprene is not a good material for car seat covers. Not because it isn't waterproof because it is. But rather because it doesn't breath. Who wants to sit on a sheet of plastic during a long drive? :surfer:
You're part way right about how a wetsuit works. Wetsuits work by letting water in at all the cuffs, the neck and between the jacket and pants if that's the style you have. It lets the water in wherever your body sticks out, then it holds that water and your body heats it up. You get cold when water circulates through the various cuffs as you move. It's full of air bubbles which is the insulation, but eventually you get cold from the cold water surrounding your wetsuit.
Neoprene is also used in dry suits. It is waterproof. Dry suits have tight fitting latex cuffs and neck collars that keep water out and keep you dry. The neoprene and/or "canvas" is often thin but waterproof. You wear polartech garments underneath to keep warm.
All this is why neoprene makes a lousy seat cover. It holds water (natural sweat) and doesn't breath.

Ok I have no interest in swamp ass producing neoprene and I am not paying $1000 for leather seat covers....That said, does anyone have any experience with some well made canvas type seat covers? You know, seat covers for normal people that will last for years and not cause swamp ass?:tongue:

Me thinks you doth protest too much supposedly thin and fit person who does perspires an abnormally low amount.
It's a valid point, if you're an overweight guy who's just about wheezing walking out of the parking lot. You're gonna broil alive on leather seats or neoprene and all that sweat is gonna soak into that stuff and when you're overweight and unhealthy your sweat is typically less pleasant than most person's.
Nor was said point directed at you, it was simply a statement of fact.

Yes, however sometimes a statment of fact can resonate in a person. It all depends on what kind of person you are and what your beliefs are. Personally, obviously overweight people struggle on a daily basis, why do I need to point out something that literally does not affect me at all.

Because you aren't the only one in the discussion and presentation of information, as an individual your motivations and your over all existence and contributions are statistical at best. There may be those of the overweight variety who are not aware of such things and were considering purchasing these seat covers. That information may be pertinent to them and any others reading the thread, your illogical emotional reaction to those facts is not of consequence or value in the grand scheme of things.
The guy posting that was fairly inoffensive in his presentation, now if he was like "Yo if you're a fatass sweatin' rancid flap grease on a sunny day, you're gonna have a bad time with neoprene seat covers and you're just gonna make peeps gag even more than they already do around you!" that'd probably be less informative and more offensive.

On the topic, anyone have good experience with Courdura seat covers? They seem a bit closer to what myself and a couple other people were looking for as alternatives to broilin' one's self alive in faux leather or neoprene?
