Second point: You're saying if you want a LT rear all you need are longer shocks and springs? No upgraded links or panhard?
Third point: Unless you upgrade to a TC Long travel (wide track) front suspension, you'll max out functionality and travel with a decent monotube extended-travel coilover plus a new UCA.
You are saying that for less than $2k you can for all practical purposes max out the suspension capabilities of a 4Runner (Icon +3 rear springs and shocks, extended travel front coilovers of choice, uniball UCAs, longer brake lines and ABS wires and such). That anything else would be purely for looks. Interesting.
And finally, that's not how to use the word "literally".
I would even say LT rear is nearly worthless with the stock geometry. Having a tire physically touch the ground doesn't really do anything. If the front travel limitations are effectively transferring the weight to the two opposed tires anyway, I kinda doubt that LT rear will have much effect other than visual. I think the rear link geometry with stock mounting points is a limiting factor on weight transfer and balance whether your tire looks like it's close to the ground or not. I could be wrong, but it's my guess that this is the case.
