Front wheel well liner question

I just got my truck back from the mechanic where he was supposed to install SPC control arms and new Bilstein 6112 coil-overs. He did a terrible job. I don't see/feel any grease in the zerks on the UCAs and no grease on the washers/ends of the UCA mounts...Pissed. Also have a light clunk on front right, they set the UCAs at +4 right out of the box,... Terrible mechanics.

Anyway, I have never really looked in the wheel well and it just looks weird, like there is a liner missing. (see image for location I am curious about. That is not my truck but it is the location I am curious about)...

Can someone look inside their front wheel well and see if there is supposed to be a liner in that location?

Nope nothing should be there. All is normal.

I have verified that they are the worst mechanics in the world (was driving and hearing clunking, looked in the wheel well (passenger) and the main bolt holding the new UCAs was loose! Loose enough that I could see 1/2" of the bushing that is supposed to be inside the UCA as it was working itself out (see image). They hadn't torqued anything apparently. It was hand tight lol. A few more miles and it would have been disastrous.

Anyway, I guess it was a little lucky that they screwed up because I could see that they had not greased anything (it is VERY clear in the SPC instructions that grease needs to be applied to the UCA bushings and the zerk)...

I have a new question because it looks like they might have screwed up the LCA when they did the alignment. I don't remember what it looked like before they got their hands on it but this looks wrong. Look at the big gap between the washer and the LCA. That can't be right, can it?

For the clunk, make sure your LCA cam bolts are torqued to 129 ft. Lbs. Also, refrain from posting multiple threads about (basically) the same thing.

If I could have changed the thread title on the other thread I would have because nobody stops in on a thread about wheel well liners... i needed an answer to a specific question with an image. Not too complicated. BTW, thanks for being condescending AND not answering the question. Solid work, champ.

I agree. And this is a site for the people that have some level of knowledge and expertise on 4runners, yet here we are, 4 messages into a thread with very specific questions and yet someone is choosing to make this a teaching moment about how message boards work... I think you just proved my point. I just want to know if the gap looks weird.

Dude. If you had actually read the posts you would know that the clunk was diagnosed: it was because the clown mechanic had not tightened the bolt and the whole UCA was coming loose. I even included a picture of the loose bolt, ungreased, almost fully disconnected due to shitty mechanic work.

Anyway, save it. You started this with your bureaucratic advice on thread duplication. It's one thread on an internet full of eighty bajillion threads...
