FS 92, Virginia Beach $500 needs motor work

92 4r for sale. Overall excellent condition.(other than motor issue(s). See sig. It has 290,014 mi. Motor acted up It had distributor cap and rotor replaced. It will start up but runs funny. I have had it for almost 9yrs. I think it is too nice to be sent to salvage yard. I could only get two photos out of phone gallery into computer to upload though.Photo of side is from July after polish, sealant and wax. Brake photo is about two years old. Fan pulley bracket and clutch I replaced 2years ago. No rust underneath. It came from North Carolina.
Maybe one of you 4runner guys in 757 area might want a nice 2nd gen project.
It even has new shift indicator light bulb. Led flasher led turns, tails, etc. About 1 yr. old Yokohama Geolander G015 tires. with road hazard warranty.
I am only putting ad on t4r and not to general public. I guess if no interest, I will call the "take your vehicle" people. It has had in last few years: power steering pump. alternator, front cv axles , catalytic convertor, flowmaster muffler, tailpipe. $500 Thanks PM if interested.

Thanks Scramble. Is the 3RZ a diesel? This has been my trusty ole 4runner for almost 8 years. I bought it with 192,xxx miles.
It just needs someone that has time and inclination to delve into the motor.
It is too nice to send send it to recycle yard.
I am going to put a local craigslist ad up. Also I have goodies to throw in with the sale.
I even have owners manual, new spare tire on extra stock wheel. The spare tire lowering cranking mechanism works. Complete oem jack kit and oem tire change tool kit.

If this was in Louisiana I would buy it immediately. Good luck with dale, this thing is gorgeous

Hello everybody. It is sold. Thanks for comments. New owner is going to fix motor. It will be for his daughter to drive.
He said it sounded like it had 'jumped timing'. A t4r'r diy fix but expensive to pay shop. I just don't have time and/ or energy ( I am 63 ).
I am sad it is gone but glad that it will still be on the road.
