Gauge Pod

I am envisioning an URD gauge pod (2 x 2 1/16) to go with their supercharger. Obviously one of the gauges will be a Vac/boost gauge. I have an Ultragauge Blue on my phone. What is the consensus for the second gauge and why.

I am leaning to a Trans Temp gauge because the reason for the supercharger is easier towing of a trailer.

But really save yourself the expense and regear. or at least regear first and see if you still want to do the supercharger?

$2000 for better gears either 4.56 or 4.88 and your runner will feel like a different animal without the expense and complications of a supercharger.

Without a doubt for me it would be fuel pressure. With a supercharger fuel pressure is a major concern. Lack of adequate pressure means lean, leans mean BOOM.

The O2s in it are already pseudo wideband. I think they go down to 12:1 or so.

I'd go with a multi gauge and a true wide band setup. I had a vac/boost gauge and fuel pressure in my supercharged Taco and the boost gauge sweeping around is cool but it doesn't change unless you have issues. I never hooked up the fuel pressure though but I wish I had went a different route with everything.

What is the wideband o2 doing? The Ultragauge Blue has six o2 Gauges

o2 B2 S2 (v)
Wide o2 B1 S1 (LV)
Wide o2 B1 S1. (L)
Wide o2 B2 S1 (LV)
Wide 02 B2 S1. (L)

I am not sure what they are trying to show. :frusty:

I went with this gauge pod as well. I got a boost gauge and an air/fuel ratio gauge (with a wideband O2 sensor).

your factory 02 sensor (narrow band) isnt going to read as precise or the range a wide band o2 sensor will, you can look at it through whatever gauge you want it wil only display what the sensor itself can read, knowing your air/fuel mix all times on a boosted vehicle is important
