I ordered one a couple days ago, said they would be shipping out in the next week or so. I'll post up when I get it, but everyone seems to love them. FYI they aren't listed under products but if you contact him he is the guy that makes them. they are like 125$ shipped.

Hi, I've been looking for a black leather shifter knob for my 96 5 speed manual. Preferrably the longer style, not the ball style. My rubber knob is worn smooth and sometimes slippery. I'm Benski in VA.

razoknobs

I`vegot mine off eBay install was as simple as screwing it on tight and that`s it.8,10,12 mm inserts included with each knob.

May want to "uncoil" the shifter boot for the transfer case. When you go to shift the lever it may be difficult to get into gear, or rip the boot loose from it's plastic mount.

there is enought free"play"for boot, I played with transfer case shifter, it moves free enough not to be worried. boot is not stretches i can`t just slid it down. I might make my own genuine leather boot it I found how to take center console off. im going to try to make it look uncoiled in an hour.

um...OK

I unscrewed the knob and used big azz unibit to drill some of that alluminum off, no more boot biting.

^ I actually like it (gear knob, not the transfer case), minus the woodgrain. I'd be tempted to paint that piece or plasti-dip it.

Does anyone else think (edit: typo) the long icon shift knob looks a bit ridiculous? Or maybe it's just the angle of all the photos? Looks like some kind of futuristic dildo...

Also, it's hard to tell from the pics but does their silver match the interior plastics that well?

Haha. You just told him that you would like the knob if he painted it. Isn't that the same as telling an ugly girl she'd be pretty if she or some plastic surgery?

I've got the shorter Icon knobs in black an I like them a lot. I don't think the silver matches our interior well, but I've never seen them in person - that's just my opinion from the considerations I made when choosing mine.

:D Honesty is a b*tch. I do like the shape though, the leather, and the chrome, as far as matching the T4R interior elements. But of course the wood grain is pointless.

Yup the TRD knob just screwed right in same with the transfer case one.

ICON makes the transfer case. Comes in Black and Aluminum.
