This will sound like an unhelpful answer but honestly you'll have to try it to find out...each truck is different. You may have no rubbing, have to remove the mud flaps/do fender liner mod or although very unlikely get a BMC. It really varies that much with each individual vehicle.

I'm guessing but the most you will likely have to do is remove the mudflaps and put a heat gun on the fender liner. Good luck, it should look good, can't wait to see the pics!

Ya know... I never even thought of a heat gun approach and forming the plastic. It's the Neanderthal in me that immediately goes to cutting. But that's genius to just shape and mold as I please with a heat gun. +1

Definitely different for every vehicle. I assumed I was in the "safe" zone with 20 x 9 (-12) Black Rhino Sidewinders with 275/55 R 20 Tires and I have slight rubbing (barely) on front and decent rubbing (Last 20% of stroke) on rear mud flap. Rubbing both when moving forward but also quite a bit in reverse.

HAS ANYONE HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH MOUNTING 275/55/20 ON THE 7IN STOCK WHEELS?

I tried to have Discount tire put Nitto's on and they would not do it. Said all 275/55/20 wheels are made for 7.5-9.0 inch wheels. Stock 20 inch wheels are 7 inches. Please help me clarify.

you just need to find a shop that is willing. they should be fine to mount, but if smethign happens, warranty will not be covering you.

it shouldnt mess up anything (i also have a limited, but havent swapped the tires out.. yet). that said, i imagine if you took a corner really hard there is a possibility of things going wrong with an undersized wheel.

No problems here. No rubbing either. I ran that size of Toyo AT2 on my 2013 LE then changed to my 2015 LE and made it to 50k without issue. I could have have 10k or more to. There has been a little round of the edge but that probably has a little to do with going on the narrower side of the recommended rim width. And maybe my driving (mostly city).

Now that I have a little more clearance with the x-reas traded out for Icon Stage 2, I'm going to see about fitting some 275/65/20 so I can get E rated tires.

Any one running General Grabber AT2s, 33X12.50R17LT? I'm guessing a 3 inch lift/level, but I'm not sure about mud flaps, liner etc...

I know tire fitment has been beaten like a dead horse here and in several other stray threads. I've got a 2016 TEP and a new Icon system (including tubular UCAs) on the way but I'm planning on getting some new shoes as well. I'm planning on 285/70/17 KO2s. Think I'll be able to drive away from the tire shop with little to no rubbing if I move the fender liner forward or should I wait until after I install the suspension/UCAs?

Also FYI Discount Tire has a labor day sale for anyone else looking at getting new tires.

Curious if anyone has ever used Kumho Road Venture AT51's on their 5th gen. Looking to get 275/70/17s on a stock 2016 Trail and found them pretty cheap on TireRack. They're rated/reviewed higher than the KO2s, only $632 for a set after an $80 rebate. Anyone?

I live on Long Island, and my T4R will mainly just be used for road, snow, and deep soft dead sand. In my experience, sometimes a properly deflated highway tire with softer sidewalks handles sand better than a hard-treaded knobby All Terrain. I suppose a C-class A/T would be a happy medium?

I have a Daystar 2.5" lift on my 2016 Limited, would 275/60R20's fit without rubbing? The rims are 20x10 with a -24mm offset.
