Stock suspension? What offset on the wheels since they appear to be aftermarket?

Getting a bit of rubbing with Cooper A/T3 275/65r17s on my 2016 TEP.

It was the stock suspension. That's changing today and tomorrow with the Toytec Boss kit being installed.

I went with 0 offset for the wheels.

Looking to lift/ up size tires on my 2015 sr5 :

Anybody have any rubbing with toytec 3" coils lift and gt at2 285/70/17?

Other tires im looking at are nitto terra grapplers or bfg at same size.

Anyone running a smaller rim under 17"? IMO more rubber less rim = better ride and better when you air down. Only thing I see is 15" steel that needs a spacer or hit hits the front brake caliper.
Looking for a black wheel under 17" non steel since I live on the beach rust issues.

If you would read a bit ANYTHING smaller than a 17" rim will not fit even with spacers.

I'll just throw this out there, last week I had BFG KO2 285/70/17 installed. Before I went to the shop, I did the fender liner mod. There was rubbing after the install but removing the front mud flaps cured that problem.

I had 285/70/17 Cooper A/TW put on today. I pulled the front fender liners forward and massaged the front mudflaps with a heat gun last night and so far so good. No rubbing while driving around today on pavement or over curbs and speed bumps. I'll have to get out and have some fun with it soon and see if there is any rubbing under compression but it looked pretty good to the naked eye.

Are those with stock wheels less likely to rub than those with the aftermarket ones? Anyone know the offset on the stock trail wheels?

I am looking at 3" of lift and 275's but only because I am afraid that 285's will require me to remove my mudflaps and I am quite partial to them. I know that I've seen quite a few TRDP's with 275's and no rubbing so perhaps it has something to do the offset on the TRD wheels also.

Of course there are variances with every vehicle as some seem to toss on 285's without a single rub while others have to resort to cutting and hacking.

After a bad week with a broken phone and a flat tire out in the middle of the woods on 2 month old tires... it was time to get the aggressive tires on because i live in north idaho. Anyways i wanted to go up a size in tires but they didn't have them in Stock. Maybe adding a lift will make it look cooler.
Currently Costco has a sale on the BFGOODRICH KO2s! 265/70/17.

What's a good lift size?
And what's a decent set of rims looking for a set of 4 under 500!

Fuel maverick wheels 18x9. Offset -12
285/65/18 bf Goodrich at 2 tires.
Zero lift

You will rub at mud flaps. And from bumper and bumper liner.

Sounds like an easy fix. I was gunna go 285 60 18 cooper zeon. Hopefully that won't rub as much since it's not an aggressive tire
