Gotta Ask... 2 inch lift with 255/85r16

I think more than a few run spacers to clear the stock UCA's. I have 285's on stock 5 stars and there is simply no way to even bolt them up without the spacers....
Get the 255's.....I wish I would have.
I never wanted spacers....or a BL.....or the light racing UCA's I just got......all to run the 285's
Yes...I have a susp lift too....but I wanted that. Tundra/OME...

I have 34x10.50-16 super swampers on 99 talls with no rub. I had to cut/ pound my pinch weld and remove the bottom portion of the fender liner, but I have 0 rub!

For the rear, I had to cut part of my bumper, but I think it would be fine with the 255/85s.

Well, that's what I'm trying next. My friend is letting me borrow some 1.5" spacers to see if it'll rub or not. I have a feeling it will.

Here's all I did. Dfarms helped me with figuring it out. I cut across the pinch weld the folded it over with a hammer. I then hammered gently around the whole area. To check for rub, you take out the coilover and jack the suspension up to the bump stops and turn the wheel. If it rubs, hammer some more. After I was satisfied with it, I slathered it with some RTV silicone.

I think it will too... you're close to edge, mine are close to edge of 99 flare...

I wonder, would a air hammer be as effective as a BFH?

Just put in my order for Nitto 285/70r16... monday will be installed...

I've chosen not to go with the 255/85's for a few factors...
I'm running spacers, and that'll MAKE them rub the fender...
I'm NOT wanting to put bigger bump stops I want the flex...
it's a want, not a need... most AZ trails can be done easily with 32's...
I get my WIDE tire that I love, who knows, maybe 285/75 is in the future...
I can hold off re-gearing a little longer... (I know 456/488's are in the future, just maybe later now)

I don't mind the cutting, it's the 'fender/flare' rub that I mind... only so much that can be done with limited tools.
