Just saw I, Tonya .... wow this was a great movie. Very entertaining and probably not what you think it is until you see it. And no it does not make her out to be some totally innocent person. The directorial style reminded me a lot of GoodFellas.

Mudbound (2017)

This is definitely one of the best movies I've seen on Netflix. A 100% solid indy movie that Netflix bought and scooped up before it could air in theaters.

I plan to watch this. Going into it ... I'm not a fan of trophy hunting at all. I am fine with those who hunt and eat what they hunt. Trophy hunting is not something I'm down with.

I feel they did a good job of showing both sides of the issue. Something that is pretty tricky to do in a doc centered around something so controversial.

I also just watched He Named Me Malala. Thought it was a good one too.

Has anyone seen La La Land? I just watched that on a flight. Been wanting to watch it for a while given all of the hype and acclamation around it. Thought it was a very meh movie. Felt it was a crappy version of a Broadway musical. Wondering if I missed something.
