Greetings from new member in New Mexico

New user here. Recently traded my 1996 f250 Powerstroke with 300,000 for an 02 sr5 Sport with 150,000.

I spent several hours detailing it today because I cannot stand other people’s dirt and grime in a car...mines ok but not anyone else’s And she’s clean as a whistle! I ordered a new radiator and BM tranny cooler today along with new plugs, wires, fuel filter, pcv, water pump and 6 quarts mobile 1 gear oil. Sticker on engine says Timing belt was done at 116000 but nothing about water pump.

Looking forward to learning from everyone here.

Still trying to figure out the 4wd and the center diff lock etc. When I pushed it, while in 4 High, all it did was flash. I’ll have to research it more in depth.

Yeah it can be a pain to upload from phone to computer to forum. If you have an Iphone we get the dredded "amazon contest add" that locks us out of the forum. So yeah Tabatalk is the route I go when uploading pics.

Next time you try it, if it doesn't engage right away try turning the wheel to the right or left, then pop it into drive or reverse to get it rolling slightly, then pop back into neutral. If you try that a few times it will usually engage. The electronic actuators can get stuck if they aren't used often.
