Halos

I was thinking about adding halos to my 5th gen on the fogs and headlights. Thoughts or advice is welcome. I was also hoping for input on the sizes I might need. I was trying to research it but had no luck so far. Thanks all for the help!

I do not recommend amber halos. Mine were installed via a very good retrofit job, but the halos start dropping LEDs and finally the DS went out completely. A real pain to replace so I didn't I have disconnected mine and came up with a new solution for DRL and turns. I think the regular whites don't seem to have the same problem. I was warned it could happen on the Ambers. I rolled the dice and sure enough, they burned out in just under a year. I don't have the size on hand so can't help with that. I'm pretty certain any forward facing red lights will get you pulled over real quick! Illegal in every state last time I checked for anyone except police and fire... stick with white or amber in front and you won't get pulled over

I somewhat agree with the statement that they look cheesy. However, it IS possible to make halos look good, so keep us posted!

I believe Oracle makes color shifting halo rings, which would be cool to play with. And maybe you could catch a cop in a good mood and avoid a ticket with them - try apologizing and telling him you'll change them to Amber when he pulls you over for red halos. Worth a shot.....

That being said, I don't have any experience with Oracle or their quality. Maybe someone else can chime in.
