I would love to upgrade to the Revo 2's, but I think that they only come in a Load Range E, in the LT tire. (265/70 R17)

You could get LT255/70/17's, load range C, they are just a little narrower and a little taller than stock.

We have P265/70/17 Revo's (original, not 2) on our 4th Gen and are very happy with them. We are on our second set. We got 80,000 miles out of the first set and have over 50,000 miles on this second set.

I had revo 2s on my jeep and loved them as an AT tire. They were surprisingly good in the snow.

YEP ! The tire you have a link to is a SL tire. (Standard Load)

I said LT tire.

I will not put a 10 ply tire on my 4R, nor will I put a Standard Load tire. A 6- ply will serve my purposes very well. So that is why I won't buy the Revo 2's.

Thanks for the info, but I want to stay with the OEM 265/70 R17 size.

Thank you everyone for the info and advice, I learned a lot here! I'm leaning toward the Revo 2s but it may depend on where I end up getting them and whether I can get anything for my stock tires with 1000 miles on them.

Ended up getting the Michelin LTX A/T2s after all at Sam's Club. We are happy with all the past Michelins we got there and they don't carry the REVO2s.

I am selling all 5 of my almost new OEM tires for $400 over on the classifieds if anyone is interested, along with a set of OEM unused black carpeted floor mats.

My TE came stock with the Dunlap Grand Treks and it felt like I was ice skating. Slight movement of the steering wheel resulted in large movements to the left or right on the road. I switched out both my tires and rims to the ones below in my signature and now my TE sticks to the road like glue. The ice skating is gone, a much better steering wheel feel, and my average of 20 mpg is still the same.

I just wanted to Thank You 4RBob. After doing some research on the Revo 2, (LT255/75R17 Load range C), I decided that this will be the tire that I mount on my OEM 17" x 7" wheels. The Revo 2 is 6 lbs heavier than the OEM Dunflop P265/70R17, but like you said, its 32.1" tall, 6-ply, and it will fit perfect on the 7" wheels. Thanks Again!
