Help me identify where this goes!

I found this while detailing my interior. It was sitting on the front passenger floor mat. Anyone know what it goes to?

could you take some other pics and place something like a quarter next to it to give a sense of scale?

It looks like a stud where the knurled end would be press fit into wood or plastic allowing things to be bolted to it.

It also doesn't look like it has ever been used (no scuff marks on the knurled end, all the threads look un-touched.

My guess would be a piece from your sattelite radio attenna. If it is still working properly maybe someone at the factory dropped a loose part and it fell out onto your carpet.

It's shorter than the diameter of a dime. From end to end it's less than 1/2 an inch.
