** HELP PLEASE ** KDSS sway bar reconnect trouble!!

I've finished installing the 2.5" Daystar spacers in the front, and am now trying to reconnect the sway bar.

I can't get the sway bar to move enough to line up to reconnect it. I've read some comments about compressing / jacking up the KDSS cylinder to assist... but I don't understand how to do this.

Can anyone please help? We're completely stuck.

DO NOT release any valves! This will cause a major and expensive headache requiring dealer service according to several threads I have read. Put a floor or bottle jack under the KDSS piston on the drivers side of the vehicle. It looks like a shock boot attached to the sway bar. Jack it slowly up to lower the passenger side of the sway bar enough to reattach. You may also have to use a ratchet strap to pull the bar back towards the lower A arm. I had to do this when installing my front Bilsteins.

Ok, I've got that going. Driver side attached fine, but the top bolt on the passenger sway bar bracket won't line up even with much prying with a screwdriver via the alignment holes on the top of the bracket.

Anything I'm missing to make this easier?

Do a search for SoCalTrail and KDSS help... Not sure who he was giving instructions to but I used them and the KDSS went on in 5 mins.... And the KDSS was what i expected to be the hardest part of the install... Find the post it is step-by-step and is way better than my memory....but here goes: with the truck in then AiR attach the passenger side first then put on tires and drop car to the ground and jack up under KDSS piston(front driver side) use blocks of wood to get the jack high enough and you can also try using a wretched strap to help muscles it in place if you're solo....then all you do is take a big punch and stab it in the guide hole to line it up so you can get the first bolt started...

I haven't done the back spacers yet, but am hesitant now because I can't find any step-by-step guides for rear suspension spacer/lift installs. :/

Still having trouble getting the passenger top bolt of the sway bar bracket to line up.

The bolt won't line up and thread properly. Driver side wasn't a problem. Not sure what to do.

I coulda swore I just read: do the passenger side 1st, put tires back on, then jack up under drivers side, etc.

Right, the brackets are both in place, and the bolts on the driver side are good.

The passenger side bracket's BOTTOM bolt is fine, I'm just having trouble with the TOP bolt of the passenger sway bar bracket. So, 3 out of 4 are ok, just having trouble getting one to line up so that it threads properly (and as easily as the other 3 did).

This was a pain when I did mine too. Without actually seeing your install all I can do is offer a couple of suggestions of thing to check.
Are you sure the bracket is on the sway bar correctly? Does it match the other side?
Have you tightened the bottom bolt already? If you back it out until there are only 2-3 threads still in the hole, then pull the bracket away from the lower control arm might give you enough play to get the top bolt started.
It may take a while, but if the bottom bolt is started the top one will line up. You just need to figure out how to get enough play in the bracket to pry it into a position that will allow the top bolt to start.
