Is there a complete parts list for replacing LBJs?

I searched but found a few conflicting answers. I'd like to buy the parts and have my mechanic do the repair. I have a 2002 SR5 with 140k, unsure is previous owner did the repair so I'd like to have it done for piece of mind.

What are all of the parts that I need to order?

Is "90119-10933" the correct number for the bolts? And there's 8 total? What is the correct torque for the bolts? What about castle nuts? Anything else?

L Balljoint, R Balljoint, 8 bolts. The ball joint nut and cotter pin come with the ball joint.

The bolt PN you listed is for the "black" bolts, which require 37 ft.lbs. This is lower due to the coating and head/washer design than the normal 59 ft.lbs (?) of the flange bolt style other PNs that Toyota also sells for the same application. The black bolts are the strongest OEM option for those bolts, so good choice.

The Yotashop link is using 555 ball joints that are not OEM. They are the 'best of the rest' but most on here will suggest you just get the OEM parts. They are used in tension and it is a catastrophic failure if they go wrong...

Ok thank you. So I would just need the 2 LBJ's and 8 bolts, correct, since the nut and cotter pin come with the ball joint?

if you have a friendly dealer near you or use one of the on line guys like McGeorge or camelback you can buy the recall kit that includes both lower ball joints, like for 180,, however does not include the bolts or nuts. But even wiht the cost of bolts and nuts added, your really not much more and you are OEM

In my notes the kit is #04005-02235 and is nearly the price of the aftermarket ones listed in phattyducks post.

I say friendly because some dealers will not sell the recall kit, my local will not.
