Jack Cargo Cover...?

So I did a SEARCH to see if anyone had had any issues with their Jack Cargo Cover coming off. It appears nobody has as of yet.

Mine is coming off regularly and quite frankly driving me nuts! So I wonder if any of you can brainstorm for an "aftermarket solution'? I don't want to replace it in fear of it happening again, which I don't doubt it will.

Here is some pic's:

Thanks In Advance!

Just a thought/shot in the dark:

Is there anything that might be blocking the clips from snapping into place?

No, but good question. It's loose.. Like there isn't enough tension in the plastic clips to hold it there. Needless to say I'm getting to the stage where i'm going to put hinges and a hasp of some sort on the dam thing! :p

Carefully!! heat the clips with a torch, did I say carefully?, and bend them back into place so they provide more tension. Heat and hold until cool. It'll work!

The funny part about this threat hackman is that when I first read the original question I said to myself "this sounds like an antman job" and sure as **** I get to the bottom and there it is......

Perfecto, I will give that a go. Makes sense to me to have done that, however ones needs the Antman to tell me. Cheers man, sure grateful!
