Kinked Crank Case breather hose

Would a kink in the crank case breather hose that restricted pulling in air cause performance issues without throwing a code?

Wouldn't think so. Crankcase breather allows blow-by gases to escape crankcase, if it becomes kinked or restricted it will cause pressure to build in crankcase and could cause seal/gasket oil leakage.
