LED tails and 3rd brake light PICS***

once those come in i think im gonna order a ton more and do all the center console, gauges and cluster, and add footwell lighting for the front and rear seats, led's in the back, and cupholder.....

we shall see
 
Clemson, those tails look amazing on your 4Runner. You should de-badge the limited & Toyota emblems, here's what mine looked like de-badged, much cleaner IMO.

I've thought about debadging it a lot. I can't figure out which ones have holes and which ones don't. I think only the 4runner one has holes. Why didn't you take off the Toyota symbol?
 
Has anybody seen those smoked LED's on a forest green 4runner? Those LED's look totally amazing on everyones and so im thinking about getting some on mine if it'll look good...

the only badges that have holes are the front and rear toyota symbols. other than that the rest are just all adhesive bound.

Thanks man. I might have to do this. I used to think that 4runners debadged looked really plain, but ya'lls look pretty good.

Most people who debadge leave the Toyota symbol on there, but remove everything else. BTW your PM box is full!

Thanks man. I have to get a new bumper end (someone hit me one of the first days I drove it to school), probably going to get '01 and up headlights soon, and hopefully new wheels as soon as these tires wear out.

The 96-98 4runner symbol on the back has little pegs on it too. The grey trim piece that surrounds the license plate has holes in it to accept the pegs. I found this out when I tried to dedage mine years ago. Just wanted to clear that up.

Thanks man. I thought that one might. So I think I can take off all but the Toyota one and the 4runner one above the license plate.

ha i have a dent kinda like that but on the other side. i didn't even do it. the crazy person before me did, so im trying to decide if i wanna keep it for a more rugged look, my buddies will give me so much crap if i keep it all clean and dent free. so i duno i may pop it out hmmm, i havnt done a search on it yet but are dents easy to pop out of a metal bumper?

Yeah, only the Toyota Logos and the 4Runner above the license plate have pegs on them. (96-98)

Also, the front Toyota logo is bigger on the 99-02 than in 96-98.
Just thought I would add that. I think it looks better.

Here is a pic of my LED 3rd brake light. I really want the black LED tails but I need someone to help me make sure I have the right resistor setup either for the tails or the 3rd brake light before I get them. Someone let me know if they know what I need. Thanks, D

Yeah the smoked lens.
I put a bead of clear silicone II around the edge. If you can do it smooth it looks just like the bead was meant to be there to seal it. It took me a couple tries to get it perfect. I couldnt reuse the gasket that was in my old 3rd.

I want the LED Tails.....Can anyone tell me what resistor setup to use for them?
