LED tails and 3rd brake light PICS***

oh nice, that sucks they broke, Are they going to replace them? It should look pretty good when you get them in if they replace them.
 
They said they were. UPS is coming to pick them up and decide if they are covered under the insurence. Even if it isn't the company said they would send me new ones. Let's hope so.

They were pretty expensive so I'm hoping they will look and perform well.
 
ya really. i hate that when you wait so long for something and find out there broken or they dont fit right. but ya the newer headlights will look sweet on your runner. are they the glass or plastic?

They were glass I believe. The outside glass wasen't cracked, but on the inside there was a quarter size crack in both of them. Kind of blows that it happened to both of them.

For right now. I'm hoping output will increase a little.

I might go with HIDs, but probably not anytime soon.
 
Here is what just came. Off to take a test and then class. Hopefully when I get home Ill have the resistors and reverse bulbs. I threw in one chrome turn for you to see the difference. D

I got the chromed bulbs also. Looks much better IMHO. However, I have had bad luck with the chromed bulbs buring out in the front lenses. No clue why the front, but not the back. Sucks.

I'll try to get pics of the back end of my rig tonight, as I also need to take pics of my LED interior lights as well.

The LED tails combined with the LED 3rd looks pretty sweet. My wife even likes it!
 
Finally....Here They Are

I decided to try and just use the harness included and see if I would have an ABS issue. So far no light. (knock on wood) I have the resistors ready to go if need be. PIAA super white reverse bulbs should be here soon also.

None of the pics turned out really good but I think you guys all get the point already, I'm not the first to put these on. Ill try to take some pics during the day sometime soon and put up too. These are sooooo nice. There is even a LED side marker built in. They are really bright and really responsive. With the LED 3rd brake light the set is now complete. :cheers:

Ive got a question, kinda off topic sorry, but what purpose does that little hook on your hitch searve besides looking cool? can you pull with it? ive been thinking about getting one of those but im not sure yet.

It is actually a BONZ receiver shackle hanger. This thing weighs alot. You can pull more than the rig can handle with this thing unlike the cheap hook or other forged hangers people use that break easy. This one is made from a solid piece of steel. The shackle is just a normal 3/4".

It is really nice. It is a must if you are doing any off roading.
 
Good job on the smoked lenses. I just think the clear ones make it look really ghetto/ricer. I'd be all for them if I had a lowered Civic though, ha not in this lifetime.
