Works good on a stock 4runner.
Rear has a 1.5" spacer for the rear coils.
You will need to relocate front sway-bar or remove it and extend the rear sway-bar links, either with 2nd gen(+1") or custom. And may need UCA's for alignment.
Things start to snowball if you hang out on T4R.org very long.
I like the adjustability on the fly with 'MyRide' controller.
I have a heavy front bumper and its to soft, needs a firmer spring rate...for me.
For the price if you hate it your not into it for much money.
They are a good inexpensive shock.

Did you go Daystar 2.5/1.5? Also what size tires?
Wanting to install my 3" Motofab front spacer, 1.5" Daystar rear spacers, spidertrax 1.25", and throw on a set of BFG KO2 285/70/17....
Wanted to make sure with those mods I could run the tire size (32.7") with NO to Minimal trimming.
If you look at that photo you quoted, you can see that he had to cut the corner of the front bumper. The corner nearest to the tire. I can almost guarantee if he had rubbing there, he also had rubbing on the body mount. You also rub the liner like hell. So you should probably be prepared to do the bumper trim, body mount chop, pinch weld mod, and a fender liner trim. (If you go with the same setup)
And this is all hypothetical of course. You truck may have different lift results.

G2 1.25" wheel spacer
285/75r17 NITTO TERRA GRAPPLER G2 tires
I have had to do a significant amount of trimming to the point of almost completely deleting the inner plastic wheel well. I still have a little rubbing that I need to sort out and i am going to have to do a slight body chop and re-weld. Only thing i am worried about now is at max travel whether my wheels will rub on anything else. Looks like a fluid basin on the front passenger side wheel could get destroyed at full compression on that side.
Has anyone else put tires of this size on their runner? If so what did you have to do to make it work.

Just wanted to chime in on this...
I think it will settle. I freaked out a little after I installed - I netted about 4.5" ground to fender all round:
After a year I sit at about 3" at the corners (v8 up front with about 60lbs of tools out back). I think you'll be good.

Holy moly those are tall, but I had to do the same, be extra careful going through deep water. Since I had to cut so much to fit 285/70/17 with NO LIFT....after I lifted my runner and down the road I go through a creek which wasn't so deep, water went in through the fender well and there goes my motor sucking up that water and it locked up.
But I believe your tire is about a 34 inch tall tire. It most likely will rub in other places when flexing out the suspension

So, to clarify (For those that are trying to decide on a lift)... The rake you see on my truck is caused by using the Toytec Superflex 2.0 HD's, not the standard 2.0 coils. I should have double checked the order before installing. I'm going to be swapping them out tomorrow, and will post some new pics when I'm done. It should lower the rear significantly, as the HD coils are meant to provide 2.5" lift with 400 extra pounds. lol. Hope this info is helpful

Still has factory rake...I'm trying to decide if it's too much or not. Rides WONDERFUL on and off road.

Also, can make ANY SIZE you want. You really don't need an alignment. We always recommend one if you don't know if you are in alignment now, but if your tires are wearing good, I've had no ill effects of not doing.

I currently have Bilstein 5100's at all four corners. 896 HD OME coils in the rear and 885 coils in the front.
What is the best method I can use to gain 1.5 to 2 inch lift in the front to eliminate the rake of the front,
My Bilsteins are set to 0'. will setting them higher help although i already have aftermarket coils?
I assume a preload spacer is the same as setting the shocks at a lift setting,
the only other thing i can think of is a top 1/4' spacer but that will not be enough.
Any information would be greatly appreciated

I could make you a 1/4 spacer, but the best way would be to adjust the Bilsteins to the 1.75" lift setting.
