Recently put some new 275/70/17's BFG KO2's on some painted FJ rims. I love the way it came out. Maybe someday I'll be able to afford a real lift too.

I like how you left the dimples silver. Look'n good! The FJ's look great on our trucks. You add signal's on your mirrors?

I HAD a set, the loudest tire I have ever heard, 55 mph tops just so my ears wouldn't rupture. They where on a rig I bought, took them off in a few days, couldn't take it.

Just got everything installed. Couldn't have done it without everyone's help and countless hours of research on the forum. Love the way it turned out!

Front: Bilstein 5100 struts @ 0" with Old Man Emu 885 Front Coil Springs
Rear: Bilstein 5100 shocks with Toytec Superflex Coil Springs
Rims: 17x9 Level 8 MK6 -12mm in Gunmetal Grey
Tires: 285/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers - C Load

Ground to fender measurements:

Driver Front:
Before - 32.5"
After - 39.25" (4.75" coils, 2" tires)

Driver Rear:
Before: 35.2"
After: 39.7" (2.5" coils, 2" tires)

Passenger Front:
Before: 33"
After: 39.5" (4.5" coils, 2" tires)

Passenger Rear:
Before: 35.7"
After: 40.0" (2.3" coils, 2" tires)

Just installed my Icon Stage 2 Kit with 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT2's on SCS SR's. I have some slight body mount rubbing but thats about it. I pushed forward the fender liner and trimmed a bit off the front and rear of inside the front fenders. all in all it turned out alright and the pups love it!!!

They are actually fog lights that are my version of ditch lights. Not super bright (18W I think) but work well enough for lighting up corners.

Do you have a spare in that same size? I'm eyeing that tire in that size for my next set, but I'd love to confirm it'll fit in the OEM spare location. I think it'll be tight.

It is very tight my spare required grinding the excess material on the back of the factory hitch and airing it down to 25psi to clear the pan hard rod with less than a finger width of room to spare. But it does clear.

lol thats what everyone says. He's about 125lbs he's very solid though. And the rear coils dont sag at all with him in it :cheers:

Spacer lift on my 2003 Limited

My 2003 with the recently installed 2" spacer lift. I love the look and it's got the right clearance for the mild offroading that I want to do. And it hasn't had much effect of the performance, handling, and gas mileage. Next up are new wheels but that will have to wait until at least the new year.

Tacoma TRD Off Road Swap

Swapped out my XREAS with a Taco TRD Off Road set up and FJ rear springs. Also installed a 1/2" Toytec front spacer and 1.5" Daystar rear spacer.

Had to trim the front bumper quite a bit, remove the front mud flaps, clearance between the tire and body mount is 2mm. Speedo is off by 4mph slower that what I'm really going.
