2006 4Runner Upgrade

Here is my 2006 Toyota 4Runner before and after.

- Rough Country 3" Suspension Lift
- Nitto Ridge Grappler P285 70 17
- Mickey Thompson Sidebiter II 17x9

Removed the mud flaps and running boards. No rubbing at all. Working out for me! :hello:

New tires.... P285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W. Removed front mud flaps, and moved the front fender liner. No rubbing at all so far.

Ive got my car all lifted and Im fairly happy with it..
however I've notice when driving over big bumps at 25+ on the road there is a huge jarring "thunk" that comes from the back end. Is this because i have the toytec HD coils and not enough weight in the rear or is it another issue like a loose shock?
Also I am having occasional rubbing on the body mount. With my toytec/eibach coiler can i raise the clip a notch and if so how would I do that? I only have one jack in my possession and it is the factory supplied one, is that enough for me to be able to use the no spring compressor method? or would it be easier for me to just take it to a shop to have them do it?

I would say, check the bump stop/spring seat cones, make sure they are seated properly.

A 2006 limited v8 4Runner 4wd
I had a shop install toytec/ebiach front coilovers (blistein 5100 and 620# springs) with a 1/2” top plate spacer on each side, jba UCA’s, diff drop and sway bar relocate
Rear was blistein 5100 shocks with superflex hd springs and sway bar removed
I’m running mb352 wheels in 17x9 with a -12 offset and I did get proper fitting acorn lug nuts
I didn’t touch bump stops or perches unless the shop messed with it

It seems like a lot of people consider this a truck.. I have a hard time with that since my last vehicle was a lifted f250 diesel

OME 884coils in the front/toytec superflex in the rear.
OME nitrocharger shocks all the way around.
265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak
17×8 -10 level 8 mk6 wheels.
I was worried about the tires looking to small with the lift after reading around on here A lot of people go with the 285's. But the 265's Are really nice for me, no regret at all with any part the lift or wheels and tires. Love it

265 really are a great sized tire...so much less to mess around with, as far as trimming and rubbn.

Ultimately I’m extremely happy with how everything came out and rides! I’m considering going up a notch on the front blisteins and once I get the thud from the rear end sorted out I’ll be 100% set
