Thanks everyone for adding to this thread. I haven't done much to mine, but it is coming along:
Removed limited steps and rocker trip
Changed the wheels and tires
Added Tint
Added thule cross bars

Here are the latest updates to my blizzard pearl. I did the front/rear TRD bumpers and the TE rocket panels. It feels like a new truck. Next up is the suspension/wheels/tires

Our '15 got totaled out, so we have to start over

285s with no lift. Surprisingly, it only rubs the front of the fender liner in reverse at full lock.

33's should have come stock -- looks so much beefier!

Looks great . I was going to do a lift first then wheels and tires. But that looks nice [emoji1417]

I tried but failed. I bought some high quality Semi-Matte Vinyl wrap and started to do the chrome on the front bumper (small strips only) and failed getting it around the corners. Ugh. I am really bummed as I wanted to get rid of the chrome, and didn't want to look too bad with PlastiDip on it. Do those chrome pieces pop off? If they do, I can get it done then.

I just completed this front bumper swap yesterday.



A few notes I did not see when researching



1. 7/8” drill bit needed for installing parking sensors

2. There is a vertical plastic piece on either side of the radiator and the passenger side needs to be trimmed. Probably could order the correct part but I just cut mine with a pocket knife.

3. Most importantly, buy about 20 fender liner clips. Not sure of the part number but they have a square post and a dime sized head with a hole in it. You’ll have to cut the old ones out when removing the limited fender liner.



If I had these notes it would have shaved about 2 hours off the install time.

I am going to try that with a heat gun today. It’s the front fender liner and just slightly on the little OEM mud flaps. The mid flaps aren’t bad, but in parking lots the liner makes it sound like we are scraping on cars around us, definitely got some looks!

Ah thanks. Crud they have those white clips on it which make it harder to get off. At least it comes off that way. Will have to get behind it then. Thank you.

Which lift ?

Ordered the dobinsons 2.5/2 comfort lift. Should maintain the factory rake and then level out with a loaded trunk. We'll see, but rear springs are an easy swap if necessary.

Anyone have a black nightshade to give me some ideas ? I recently purchased a 19’. Tint is done and darker than I expected. Ordered the LeD Lights for inside the cabin but wondering what else to do. Really thinking about rims and tires. Already ordered running boards as well. Anyone have any pics of their black nightshade to post if not stock?

Mine is not highly modded, but if they had not added the 265/60-20's, I would have gone with 17's, even in the stock size. That is what I did with my '13 Limited. Front end level is good for a start. Running boards just get the back of yer pants dirty, although they do protect the bottom and fronts of the rear fender flairs. Whatever ya do, it's yours. Enjoy it! Oh, Magnuson supercharger.

I need the usual starter packs.... Are there any of these that the forum has agreed on one specific brand or product being the favored choice?
LED interior/exterior
HID headlights (at least low beams)
Level the suspension

The only thing driving me crazy is the turn signals don't have that soft touch feature that every damn vehicle has had for 10 years (just tap it to get a quick 2-3 blinks), but otherwise I'm loving the new ride.

Look into the Diode Dynamics tail as turn mod. I highly recommend it. As far as interior LED's, I got cheap Amazon ones, and they have lasted me a good while so far. As for leveling out, I leveled mine with 1 inch cornfed spacers on the front. I like it for now, until the XREAS goes out and I can replace the whole suspension. I also bought some Tundra LED foglights off Amazon and replaced my stock ones with them.
