MillerPKA's Build Thread

I remember yours was the first built rig that I saw when I joined the forum about 2 years ago. I saw the pictures of it in the really green field, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. At the time I was thinking, "I had no idea someone could do that to a 4runner!" Your gunmetal wheels against the black was the reason I painted my stock 6 spokes (which I now miss) gunmetal. You built it, and it will always be your truck. You should definately try to get it back. Take out a loan or something
 
Wow, crazy story. Sorry to hear about the hard times, and I truly wish you all the best and hope to see you behind the wheel of your 4Runner once again.

But no in all honesty, I would love to see Weston get this truck back! Hell I want him to get it back just so all the hours I put into it didn't go to waste!

Weston is one of my best friends and would honestly do anything to help anyone in need. Its a rare opportunity to be able to re-aquire something like this, especially a truck that was given so much love during its tenure with Wes. Its a long shot for sure, but Weston is a very credible person who would undoubtedly reimburse someone if they could in anyway get this 4runner back into his possession.

Hell, even if someone came up with the cash to buy it and kept it until Weston paid it off that would work. Either way hopefully this works out because damn Im tired of listening to his whining about how much the Camry sucks and how bad he misses the 4Runner!

This is truely an awesome website and a great group of people on this forum.

Weston, so what ever happened to your runner!??? did you get it back? i really hope so, because your truck was a huge inspiration.
 
Miller...prayers are with you on this I know your pain. Keep your God and Family first careers and material objects come and go. I would love to see you get it back though.
 
Since I hopped on to update Scat's stuck-in-neutral thread I thought I'd update this. After consideration I decided not to buy it back, I have no idea where it is now. I'm doing my best to maintain at the moment and when the iron is hot I will be getting into another 4runner. Although being out here in San Diego has me wrestling with the idea of an open top Hummer H1..I have this sick twisted thought of me blasting the heat and driving to Big Bear with the top town, I don't know why but I want it.

In the meantime, I'll be helping with Crap Adams build until I'm able to make my mark again. I hope all of my friends here have been doing well. Great seeing some of the updates!!
 
Be sure to get a hummer in your hummer if you get a hummer.. Otherwise, we'll laugh at you for getting a hummer and not taking advantage of getting a hummer.... in a hummer. Of course, if you've already got a hummer in a hummer and the hummer wasn't your hummer and THEN you get a hummer, that gives us rights to laugh at you (again). So either way, I think you should get a 4Runner. Make since?


Although a H1 of all the hummer choices, is a good choice.

Damn, that's tough to see. Any details on what happened? Hope everyone inside was ok. I was holding out hope I'd hear from the owner and have the opportunity to buy it back, but looks like I have no choice but to move on.

Looking back through the last couple pages it's nothing but drama. Let's change that. I sold the Camry and am in the market for another 4runner right now. If anyone comes across a black 99-02 around these parts feel free to let me know. Can't wait to get back into one!
