Miller, Are you still in GA? There is a little gypsy lot in Grayson that had a brown 98 SR5 2wd for 3598...they are a buy here/pay here lot that may work for you. Given all the experience you have with these trucks it may work out for you. Also, have u looked into a cheep ford explorer? Those things are a dime a dozen and with the 5.0 they last for ever.
 
There ya go a cheap 2wd 4runner beef up the rear throw on some tundra brakes, wait MillerPKA2? for real its not a bad idea.
 
I have a friend who is selling an Explorer for cheap. Good truck and all. PM me if you are interested... of course, its in Texas...
 
Thank you everyone for the help thus far I feel like this is the end of a relationship and the girlfriend's friends are coming up and saying 'hey sucks guy, but i always liked you'. haha work has consumed me though so unless something oddly convenient and tempting comes my way i may have to trade it into a dealer when push comes to shove. i have a couple weeks to ponder it but its not looking good. Thanks again, community really shines in times like these
 
how much are u gonna be getting from the dealership? sounds like all those mods will go wasted and unappreciated by a dealer purchasing this. So there isnt anyway u can sell off some of the items on ur 4runner (not ideal) so that u can keep it til u get ur bonuses? so wat car will u be trading it in for?

*wishful thinking* so u should trade ur 4runner for my 2002 4runner 2wd sport and it can be lowered back to stock height. haha its only got 120k miles so its just broken into
 
lol like i think its sad that he has to get rid of it but i dont want it to go to someone who isnt on this forum and doesnt appreciate all the hard work he put into it... if i cant get the trade then i might try to get a loan to buy it.

I to would hate to see this truck go to some one off of this forum if i had the cash laying around I would step up and help Miller out for sure.

To millerPKA if you do sell this thing out side the forum make them agree to become a member of the forum so we can keep an eye on one of the family. Can't have the Kids out there running unguided.

You using IH8MUD and YOTA TECH and so on to find the best offer I hope?
 
If I didn't have to worry about my expenses afterwards, you know I'd have already flown out to you and bought it from you, straight cash... damn.

This really sucks. I used to have your 4runner as a background on my computer. If you are about to trade it in let me know, I'd be willing to trade you some stock parts from my 97 for some mods with cash.
 
I've actually pulled a cruel prank on you guys. The trucks not sold and I don't think I will. Still running great and been lurking in the shadows on a new purchase. I won't bring anymore drama about it though I promise :)
