My 2007 T4R goodies. HIDs, Lift, Whls/tires

Hey everyone,

A little intorduction here. My name is Brian and I am 28yrs old. Back in December I made a big decision to take the more wise financial path, and set myself up for a big step in life..marriage . So I decided to trade both my 2007 vette and 2007 mazda 6 in for something a little more versatile. Well after a long search I finally found a 2007 4 Runner V8 Sport Edition with ~17K, and near new condition (the radio still had the plastic on it, lol).

I've done quite a bit of reading on this board and others, but this one seems to be the most helpful IMO. So without further adu here's the good stuff

So my list of mods thus far:
HID's: 4300K H11 low beams, 3000K 9006 fog lights (from xenon depot)
Spacer lift: Daystar 2.5"/1.5"
Wheels: Tundra/Sequoia 10 spoke wheels (custom powder coated gray)
Tires: Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's 265/70/17

Stuff still to come in the next month or so:
An extensive exterior paint detail, Painted to match front grill, Intake, Exhaust (possibly still on the fence on this one), tint, and maybe spidertrax

Next the lift, wheels, and tires.
I put all this stuff on Friday. Only took about 6hrs for the spacer lift install. The first strut took me ~3 hrs. Once I figured out the trick in getting the strut re-installed it was a piece of cake from there on out.

I'll post all the measurements up when I get home from work. I've got stock, wheels/tires, and lft with whls/tires measurements.

Great pics and very well-matched rims you've chosen for your Sport. Rims look matte/semigloss gunmetal from the pics - correct?

Great looking ride! Do you happen to know the dimensions of those Tundra wheels? I was thinking about getting the 17"x8" TRD wheels at some point but depending on the width of the Tundra wheels, I might consider those as well.

Very nice pics! Will you be keeping your Sport wheels?? If not I am very interested in those. You have done a great job on the 4Runner. The Tundra wheels look great on there and also love the color.

Nice Rig.. How do you like the yellow fogs? I just installed my H11 4300K Phillips Xenon Kit this past saturday. This kit is awesome. The more I see the runner with the yellow fogs, the more I like it. Of course, now that I have the HID low beams I have to go HID fogs. It just doesn't look right with HID's and silverstar fogs.

Just thinking ahead, if and when I do my fog mod, where did you put the ignitor and relay for the fogs? I'm asking because I didn't see it in the picture of the drivers side view. I'm sure they're their somewhere.

Rims look matte/semigloss gunmetal from the pics - correct?

Semi gloss steel gray. I wanted to match the roof rack and step bars as close as I could without getting a textured powder coat. they had about 100 gray shades to choose from so I think it turned out very close.

Do you happen to know the dimensions of those Tundra wheels?

They are the exact same as stock 17X7.5 with a different offset . 15mm instead of the 33mm if i remember correctly

I'm undecided at this point whether or not I'll be keeping them. If I decide to sell em, I'll let ya know.

I love the yellow fogs!!! A real eye catcher thats for sure. I mounted both relays together in the same spot. You can kinda see em in the pics above. If you would like some better pics let me know. I'd be more than happy to get some for ya.

Very nice! good lookin T4R!. I like your light setup since mine is simliar haha! :bigok: (i've got Hoen's in the fogs instead of HID)

Nice set up, and congrats on marriage. My wife and I had to do the same thing before we got married: I had an 05 Subaru WRX STi and an 06 Chevy 2500 Duramax, she had an 06 Lexus GX 470. Now I have an 03 4Runner and she has an 06 Highlander Hybrid, but we have a nice garage to park them in

I had an 85 and then 98 4Runner before the Army and college happened to me, and it was nice to get back into one. Hope you enjoy yours!

I have the Revos too & I love them.

Very nice , may just sway me to that DS kit after all. I also have a set of FJ rims waiting to put on.

The lift looks great with the tires and offset. I believe my FJ rims have the same offset as the Tundra rims.

Do you have the Daystar kit # off your box ?
