New Light Setup - Thoughts Please

Well, we should specify that we are talking about the new OTRATTW Contura V switches in this post - I believe the older OTRATTW Contura II switches fit in our factory switch blanks with no modification required.

Going to have to dermal to fit... See pics below.... The other option is to try to cut off half of switch one "holder" and half of switch 6 holder... Cause it's really close to fitting in... If you dremal the console it will pop right it... But I am thinking it is way cheaper to first try cutting up the switch holder than the console... As long as you do not take off more than half of the holder the switch should still be secure...
This switches are just way too pretty to sit around so since selfish jango doesn't want to release Eric from his creepy barn I had to go with the Painless wiring 70207 aux fuse block. I hope it is strong enough for the future mods I have planned Rigid lights and baby air compressor.... If not I'll have to upgrade and call it a learning experience... Not the first time "see my baby 265's tires" that mock me every time I get in and out of the truck....

My guess is you'll be around $300 to buy everything (including crimper) and build just one. If you buy in bulk and amortize the crimper, they get down into the mid $60 range... I'm not going to include the cost of the crimper since I already have a fancy pants one. I bought one to make weatherpack connectors for auxiliary lighting to make a harness to plug into the lights.
Looks like the WagonGear one is all 12ga wiring.
I'm a little leery of trying to step up to fill WagonGear's shoes, sounds like pretty big shoes to fill.

You're absolutely right. His main power lead is a 10ga wire with a fusable link. Each hot wire is 12ga and the lead is smaller (not listed - but probably more like a 16-18ga wire). Definitely a well build piece. My question is that with the schematics in the links I posted above (and there are even links Erik provided as to where he bought everything) and the numerous pictures of both the top and the belly of the unit... When are you ready to start selling these? :nerd:

No clue how you got this to fit I keep dremel'ing and dremel'ing and tried drilling and lightning it on fire... I stepped away from it for a min to rethink my strategy... I'll Probably just drive it down to Ducmonsta shop and have him fix it or maybe trade it in and start over?:ybrick:
