I'm originally from ID but lived in Portland for 5 years. Miss it very much. I'm in the military so I move around every 3-5 years. It's nice getting a change of scenery sometimes but many of the locations they have sent me haven't been the greatest. The best so far has been UT. It makes it nice having a capable vehicle that can take you pretty much anywhere so you can make the most of the armpits where many bases are located. I plan on getting an action cam and will hopefully be contributing my own videos on this topic once the 4R is built up a little more and I find a good off-roading club to participate with. Cheers!

Here are a couple videos of the same area taken in May before I had the Rock Rails and the lift kit. The only mods were the tires and the wheel spacers. I even had the stock roof rack still, not that that affects off road performance or anything.

I'm sure some of you want to know how a stock 4Runner does over this type of terrain. My mom was the spotter as you can see in one video, and I basically just took my time to negotiate through all the rocks. ENJOY!

I have Icon stage 2 lift with 285/75/17 (34" BFG KM2), RCI Skids. Its a great all-around machine. Rides great on the highway and reliably gets my into and out of trouble!
