new wheels/tires rubbing up front

So I put a new set of Countersteer type x's wrapped in stock size duratracs on my 2015 TE and I am rubbing pretty bad at stock height. I thought it was the front mud flaps so I removed them but it is still really loud. Kind of like the baseball card in your wheel spoke sound x1000.

Will a lift up front cure this? I was thinking 2 inches up front and one in the back but maybe just a 1" leveling up front. IS anyone else having issues with this type of setup?

The wheel specs are

Diameter: 17"
Width: 8"
Offset: -10mm
Backspacing: 4.1"

Its the offset and extra width causing it. I would just turn the wheel 1/4 direction and mark where it rubs and then get in there with a heat gun and start pushing it back. Continue doing that until its gone or a lot less.

I think where it is rubbing is the bottom inside corner of the bumper cover. Can a heat gun mold that out of the way?

It could. Or some trimming would do it.

Try turning your wheel a 1/4 turn and see where it appears to rub. Do that then use the heat gun method and rinse and repeat till it's better or gone.

do you have a pic of where you trimmed? Those trucks in that thread don't look the same as mine. Did you hit it with touch up paint after trimming it?

No paint, After the cut. It is so far in on the fender nobody can see it unless they are under the truck or specifically looking for the cut.

I had to start at about the inside 1/3 of the lip. I turned my steering until the tire was touching or close and marked the fender, then cut it in toward the frame after straightening the wheel again. I took a little more off than I needed on the passenger side, but not enough to bother me. Mind you I moved the fender liner forward first. This is looking down past the front of the passenger side tire.

Look at how much your poke increased from the change in offset. Green is new setup.
