Hello all,

So this might belong in the intro section but I don't currently own a 4 runner but just have a couple questions. Right now I own a 2011 tundra dc rock warrior and I'm thinking about making the switch. Has anyone made this conversion? Any regrets? I have some basic towing needs (snowmobiles, maybe a motorcycle) how does the 4 runner stack up there? I'm liking the nicer interior, are there any must buy options? I think I'm looking at the trail trim level.(TRD pro is nice but just not worth it IMO) I'm getting about 15-16 mpg now, can I look forward to a boost there? I don't always trust the EPA ratings.

Thanks for any input!

Most of those answers are going to be opinions and specific to you and what you want to do with the truck. I will warn you if you plan on making modifications such as lift and tires you can expect your mileage to go down. I am creeping down to around 16.2 with a 2-3"lift and 285 BFG K/M2's.

P.S. I think you should make the switch :)

I traded my 2011 Tundra TSS in for my Trail. I do believe I lost a little on the interior, especially in the storage department. The Tundra had little cubby's everywhere I could reach. But other than that I have had zero regrets. Of course I haven't towed anything yet either. It definitely has a different power band from a pickup. Especially if you're coming over from a 5.7.
