I am gone June 2-7th to help with a hockey camp...other than that for now I will be in Cali and SCHOOL WILL BE DONE so NO EXCUSES!!!!
Once school over, I give anyone permission to get my personal email and cell, and text call nag me about any wheeling trip on a weekend from LA to SD or up to Big Bear and anyplace in between...I want to get my Jeep and 4runner some dirt under the tires, meet guys who know Yotas because I do not, and start game planning whatever mods I need to keep up with you all. I would love to get in with a group of folks who regularly go, and in the next year hit the trails frequently.
So far I am thinking of skids, sliders, rear bumper and some LED lightbar perhaps. And my stereo wiring is jacked and goes on and off but that doesnt impact trail riding

Also considering CB and airtank if I start wheeling enough and others have CBs. The worst thing on my Big Bear Jeep trips is coming out of the woods after all day wheeling, and other guys have air compressors, pull over, fill up tires, and take off...and I have to limp to the one darn gas station up there that takes 10 minutes a tire to get them back up to inflated enough to hit the highway. I originally was thinking air tank under the hood, but if I start wheeling the 4runner I might run into the same issues. I also need some of you gurus to look at my tires, I like BFG ATs but not sure how old mine are, and I do have some plugs. I so do not want to spend money on new tires, but if they are not safe to rock crawl with I might have to put that on the to do list....and figure out what some decent ATs are that will not kill the bank, and also see if I can slap on a little larger tire perhaps, taller or wider on the Tundra rims. I have 265.70-17 right now still with clearance.
Ok that was off on a tangent...exam today, comprehensive exams Monday, oral defense following week, and lots of papers due in the coming weeks after that....so I just got on here to daydream about fun stuff once school is over!!
