Next BigBear Run Date?

Ur welcome! My idea is to do some moderate stuff so the guys with less experience can gain some. It wouldn't be much fun if u damage the daily driver and have to hear it from ur ol'lady all week! :mad2:

Posted all pertinent info in the first post, but I'll post it here also.

Big Bear Run, June 29th @ 7:30AM, meet-up at the Valero Station located at 32755 HWY 18 Running Springs, CA 92382. This is located a mile or two past the main drag in Run. Springs where the 18 and 330 merge.
 
Be sure to go east once you hit 18/Hilltop Blvd. Google map pointed me to go west and went the opposite direction last time. If you google the address, it will point you to that wrong direction.

I'm a maybe for this one. I'm not allowed to take anymore days off work this month, so all I can do is hope I don't get scheduled to work that day.
 
Just found out about this! I'm a maybe at this point. I'm picking up sliders this Friday. If I can get them welded on before this event, I'll go...even though I get off work at 1:30am the night before!
 
Count me in! I'm a total noob and hope to learn from the more experienced offroaders. I'm driving a black 12' TE, it's pretty much stock, only upgrade is the tires (BFG AT's). Fiancé and I will be driving up together. A little nervous about beating up our truck but from reading earlier posts the trails are not too extreme. This truck has ac outlets, any recommendations on where to pick up a good air compressor?
 
Kanger, u won't need sliders unless ur planning on hitting the black diamond trails with Jmoney. Hobbs, don't be worried about 'beating up' ur TE... that's what its designed for! As for air compressors, I have a small 2gal. one I bought at Lowes. It needs an inverter to run off the truck. They make a bunch of cheap, low power units that'll run off ur cig lighter/power outlet. They take FOREVER to air up ur tires. A much better choice would be a VIAIR or ARB. These are made specifically for the off-roader. Look forward to seeing both u gentlemen on the run. :cheers:

Cool, then I'm in. I was more worried about if I get a blowout. My jack won't go high enough to lift the tires off the ground. I have a Hi-Lift but no jack point, except for the rear trailer hitch. See y'all in a few weeks.
 
I'm just a maybe now for this one. I had some work that I needed to get done on the 4runner that was going to happen this week, but some jackasses decided to break out the windshield and back window on my DD. $600 dollars later and I have new glass, but no money left for work on the 4runner :sobbing:

And I received a jury duty notice on the same day that the vandalism happened. Man, it was just not a good weekend for me haha.

Looking forward to getting back out to big bear, Its been awhile since Ive been up. Ill probably be at the valero station a little after 8. Oh yeah will we need an adventure pass?
