Absolutely buddy will do! I've already been stalking Expodition portal and IH8M getting ideas for what i want to do. Haha yessir keep up the good work bro :thumb:

Installed a Raingler barrier cargo net,actually a couple of weeks ago but forgot my camera upstate so just uploaded the pics now. Very happy with the results. Great quality and strong! I think it's going to help quite a bit from having a avalanche of gear when i have the truck packed to the gills!







I also got the Raingler net for the Gobi rack, which i think is specifically made for the one for the 5th gen. But it works great on my Rola rack and will help a lot to secure extra stuff on the roof. It doesn't cover the full length of the roof rack but i'd say 80%. Again top notch quality! I can't wait to get my rear bumper with swing out tire carrier so i can get that spare tire off the roof and free up that space!







Here's a couple extra shots of my cargo drawers. They desperately need to be cleaned out and re organized! Planning doing that in a couple of weeks before the New Hampshire overland challenge.









Other than that just doing last minute prep and getting ready for the New Hampshire overland challenge at the end of the month!



Did all new brake pads this weekend. Driver side caliper was seized so i swapped that out.



Picked up a BN Copper stt MT 265/70/17 for $150 for a second spare tire for this event. Going to mount it on a stock FJ wheel i used to use for a spare.With that size i'll be able to tuck it up under the stock location.

Then just do a quick oil change before the trip and pack the truck up with gear and good to go!

Thanks bro ! Haven't gotten to get out and wheel half as much as i wanted to this past summer but such is life what can ya do:shrug: I'm happy any time i can get off the beaten path! We have a couple awesome runs coming up this fall that i'm super stoked about! Next week I'm heading up to New Hampshire for the NH Overland challenge with this guy [MENTION=76550]cbielat[/MENTION] It's going to awesome!!!

There are 20 teams and 2 trucks per team, each team has a driver and co pilot. Everyday we go from point A to point B on a series of maps and have to reach point B by the end of the day to set up camp, being a different point everyday and we don't get the maps until the morning of. It's a point's based system based on times,different off road challenges,pictures and i think some hidden landmarks along the way if you find them. Should be pretty fun, this is the first time i've done this type of expedition style wheeling where i'm not set up at a base camp every night.


Then were doing a run at Rausch Creek off road park in the end of Oct 24th and 25th to raise money for a good friend of ours who has had some serious health problems and was just in a coma for about a month. He is awake now and on the mend but him and his family have been hit with a tremendous financial burden form everything. I'm going to post something up in the Off road section, Trails for Charlie :rockon:

It was about this time last week we were in the middle of the New Hampshire Overland Challenge. What an amazing experience! 4 straight days of over landing, off roading and technical rock crawling and sight seeing the beautiful back country of New Hampshire during the best time of year! Testing our navigational skills and working together as a team to get thru some of the most difficult obstacles i've ever done and chasing down landmarks and covered bridges as part of the scavenger hunt,winch challenges, medical emergency quizzes and bonus challenge trails all for extra points while the clock was ticking to get back to camp every night by a certain time. Great people, hanging with old friends and making new ones, eating amazing food and swigging out the bottle around the camp fire, can't beat it. We were team #13 4Lo Runners, Me and [MENTION=76550]cbielat[/MENTION] and are trusty co pilots who we couldn't of done it without, we came in 5th place overall out of 20 teams! A wide variety of rigs, from ridiculously built up to mildly modified stock trucks. It was a great taste of a different kind of wheeling and exploring with a healthy competitive nature. I will definitely be doing more of these types events in the future, it's a great way to learn a lot about navigating,over landing/off roading,proper recover/safety,vehicle capabilities and working as a team. I can't wait until the next one!

Oh and I scored this sweet new Roof top tent from my buddy! He's getting a new one so he hooked my up with it, it just needs a little TLC and it'll be good as new! Perfect timing as I'm building my 1953 bantam trailer this winter, this will be getting mounted onto that.

Damn...Those trails look gnarly!! Did that ding on your rear bumper happen there? I really wish they did something like this closer to the south! That would be the perfect vacation!

Actually no the bumper was from a run prior to this trip I just never got around to popping it out. But man the two bonus trails on the last two day were ridiculous! Thankfully I made it out without any major damage, I only snagged and snapped my rear brake wire on a rock and popped a bead on my front pass tire but we were able to get it on right way. These were definitely trails for straight rock crawlers that our trucks normally should really be on lol but it was and awesome experience non the less! A lot other rigs took some serious damage and not even from those two trails just some of the regular trail we were running.

That frontier in the pic above snapped both of his front CV's on one trail another built keep snapped his rear drive shaft and another jeep rear end blew up and there were lots more not to mention the cosmetic damage everyone got. All that damage on that excursion in the pic above was from that last trail, that thing is huge though lol. My overall goal entering this was to have fun, compete and not in cure any serious damage to my truck. So all in all in very happy!
