I've got 2 questions about your Addicted bumper.

1. Did you have the bumper powder coated after you received it? Their website doesn't give an option for coating and it says that all bumpers "ship raw".

2. Did you request a build with no spots for a blinker? I think it looks better but I am curious how that works with your local law?

Yes i had it powder coated after receiving it. Scotty at AOR prefers not to PC the bumpers before he ships them out because a lot of company's do that and the bumpers will usually get some scratches or damage along the way.

Yes as HHIRunner stated above i didn't have to get the blinker cut outs but if you have a 03-05 you will need them. Thanks man it's a really nice stout bumper and Scotty at AOR does awesome work !

I want to swap new headlights in anyway because I want projectors with HIDs. I imagine that I can just reroute the blinker if I install newer 4Runner projectors. Then I can get the flush bumper.

Nice I love my HIDs, There's also these new LED bulbs that a lot of the new cars are all running and they are supposed to be even brighter and better than HIDs i might give them a try in the future. Yeah i don't see there being a issue with re routing the blinker for the new headlights. I still need to get rid of the squirrel finders in mine one of these days cause they annoy the shit out of me!

Did a little snow wheeling yesterday up in CT. It was a really fun run and i got very familiar with my winch and lets just say i feel like a pro using it now haha pretty much everybody ended up winching at least once either pulling themselves out or someone else. In my case i pulled [MENTION=105825]bisonrunner[/MENTION] off a tree before he incurred more body damage, but the winch worked great for the first time officially using it. Other than that my other buddy lost a tail light on his FJ then on the way out i hit a snow covered rock and broke my front driver side wheel, it took a huge chunk out and cracked it to the inner lip, i'm surprised it held air because you could see the bead of the tire.Actually [MENTION=105825]bisonrunner[/MENTION] also hit the same rock and took a chunk out and broke his stock 4th Gen rim. I already called Dustin today [MENTION=85422]FNWheels[/MENTION] and he hooked me up with the best deal possible and should have 2 more wheels by friday.I originally only bought 4 and was using a FJ rim for a spare and was going to wait until i got a rear bumper to get the 5th matching spare but i figured since i was ordering more anyways i mid as well just get it now.Anyways here's some pics...

Haven't been to active on here lately. I'm starting to notice a pattern, my build always slows down from about Dec to March it's kind of hard to keep modding with these harsh New England winters and not have a nice big heated garage. So it really comes down to either a warmer than normal day or a nice warm work space that I can fit into and comfortably to do some modding! Thanks to my buddy [MENTION=77033]J053619[/MENTION] we got to utilize his space yesterday and also [MENTION=72341]NJshadow93[/MENTION] joined the party for some 4th gen Modding.

I got my 4runner some much needed new Clazzio seat covers for Valentines day. Actually my wife got them for me for my Bday last month but ended up being post Valentines day install. I decided to go with the Clazzio's after doing some research and all the great reviews from everyone and over all what really sold me on them was after seeing them on [MENTION=63637]Superman[/MENTION]3042 and [MENTION=65653]aha2988[/MENTION] 4runners I was sold. The fit finish and quality is so impressive that you really can't even tell that their seat covers! For the money you really can't beat it.

Install went smooth. I started with the front driver side and worked my way back. Instruction were easy to follow and I found everything went on the way it was supposed to and fit nice and snug, you have to work them into place a little here and there to make sure there sitting and lined up properly but that's to be expected. They really do give a nice refresh to the seats with the extra padding in them they feel like brand new seats. My original seats weren't in bad shape it was really just my driver side seat was torn pretty good( common urban runner problem ). So I decided rather than spend a couple hundred just to fix that spend just a little more for all the seats. The only thing that wasn't a perfect fit was the inner arm rest, the material doesn't sit as snug in there but really not a big deal for me.I think I remember others mentioning the same thing when they did the instal as well so I was expecting it. Anyways hers some post cell pics of the install, hope to get some better ones in the near future with the good camera.

Great gift. The clazzios look great man. I have them as well. Love the garage picture with all the trucks. I think the center arm one is kind of a weird fitment but I so not recall it being recall it being loose. Maybe the back wall of the seat was a tad loose when the armrest is folded down. I still love mine and totally worth it especially if you have kids lol.

Thanks man I thought you had them to, i just didn't get to see your 4runner that day.The garage is great to have during the winter being able to work in a nice warm space! Yes you are correct the arm rest itself is fine it is the wall behind i was talking about.I'm hoping they will stand up well against the kids haha i was amazed at all the crap i found underneath the rear seats when i was doing the instal.It's like they purposely hide everything they can under there ..

Thanks. I got them off amazon for $450 i think the shipping was really cheap. That was the cheapest i found them for and seems to be the going rate unless you want something custom then it's probably better to order directly from Clazzio and i think the wait time is a little longer.

That's a good question. Of course the 1st gen and 80 series LC always kill it but then again their both the most capable rigs being fully locked and running 35's and 37's So i'd have to say those two for sure! The snow made it challenging for everybody though, everyone one of us had to winch or be winched at some point.I think the toyota's do better in the snow though then the jeep for sure, Where as i've been in other wheeling/crawling situations with that same jeep and where he's excelled for sure and was able to do just about everything the 1st Gen and 80 series were doing and the jeeps only running 33's with a 3" lift but he's also locked and running Dana 44 axles.

Thanks. I have much the same experience. I love 80's for that reason. Agreed though, those short wheel based jeeps just jump up rocks and inclines but they have their weaknesses as well.

Thanks man, aha yeah it's a ever growing addiction, I know whenever i start browsing thru others build i always get new idea's mods and new things that i want. This forum is a gift and a curse at the same time haha It never ends my friend it never ends but as long as your doing as your screen name says well then you can't go wrong :rockon:

I know i just put 33's on at the end of last summer and i'm already eyeing a set of 34.5" tires! What size tires are you running now? What are you thinking about upgrading to?
